Marvel star Kat Dennings shared on Instagram how she was confused after people kept waving to her at Disneyland's Avengers Campus, only to realize why later.

For movie and television fans, it's hard to imagine an actor becoming so comfortable with their job that they could actually forget about one of their roles—especially if it was one of our favorites.

Gwyneth Paltrow, for example, has admitted that she can't say for sure how many Marvel films she was involved in (the answer is seven).

And now we have Kat Dennings. While on a trip to Disneyland, Dennings entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe area and was confused to see people repeatedly waving at her.

It turned out she'd completely forgotten that she played Darcy Lewis in the Thor films, who was first an assistant to Thor's love interest, Jane Foster, and later a frontrunner in taking down Wanda Maximoff's barrier in Westview in Wandavision.

After returning home from the trip, Dennings confessed on Instagram:

"I went to Avengers Campus at Disneyland, and people were waving at me, and I forgot why. I genuinely forgot why."

Some fans were thoroughly entertained by how much this reminded them of Darcy Lewis's personality.

Others compared this moment to Anna Kendrick forgetting she played one of Bella's friends in the Twilight saga.

In multiple interviews recalling the actor's career, Kendrick has admitted to enjoying the Twilight films but completely forgetting her role in them and barely recognizing herself when she watches them.

Some took a moment to remind Kat Dennings that she is, in fact, Kat Dennings.

While it might seem wild to us for an actor to forget a role, it's likely similar to when we either forget a job that we had or at least some of the details of it.

So much goes into a performance role, from auditioning, to memorizing lines, to filming, to touring when the film comes out, it's not completely out of the realm of possibility to forget about some roles along the way.

But for someone like Kat Dennings, it almost sounds like method acting to keep the part of Darcy Lewis alive.

Boy Meets World's Mr. Feeny Schools Trump With Blistering Take On His Destruction Of The White House East Wing

As MAGA Republican President Donald Trump continues to transform the White House into something befitting the Trump name—tacky, tasteless, and slathered in gold—Emmy Award winning actor William Daniels urged people to reflect on what they've lost.

Sharing a photo with Ken Howard as Thomas Jefferson, Howard da Silva as Ben Franklin, and Daniels as John Adams from the film 1776, the actor recalled performing in the now demolished theatre at the White House for Republican President Richard Nixon in 1970.

TikToker Hilariously Identifies Exact Brand And Shade Of Eyeliner J.D. Vance Wears In Resurfaced Video

Casey, an eagle-eyed TikToker who posts videos under the username @mamasissiesays, had social media users buzzing in a resurfaced video from last year investigating whether Vice President JD Vance actually wears eyeliner. At the very end of the video, Casey even shared that she believes she found the exact shade he prefers.

Casey posted the video amid intense rumors about Vance's eyeliner use. An investigation by Slate implied that Vance’s long eyelashes and hooded eyelids likely create some conveniently placed shadows. His wife, Usha Vance, confirmed to Puck News that his look was “all natural,” and admitted that she's "always been jealous of those lashes.”

Single MAGA Women Complain That D.C.'s Conservative Dating Scene Lacks 'Masculine' Men—And We're Cackling

Social media users pounced with jokes after MAGA women spoke to the Washington Post and the New York Times about the lack of "masculine" men in Washington, D.C., which is hilarious for a party pretty much obsessed with the way "real men" act.

The notion that masculinity is being attacked–namely by the left wing–is a popular one among Republicans such as Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who once accused "the Left" of hurting "the future of the American man" and went on to claim the "deconstruction of America begins with and depends on the deconstruction of American men."
