The Marvel star faced some backlash from fans once again after leaving his ex-wife, actor Anna Faris, out of his Mother's Day tribute on Instagram.

He did it again.

For the second year in a row, Chris Pratt divided his fans after he omitted ex-wife Anna Faris from his Mother's Day post on social media.

The Marvel star took to Instagram on Sunday to pay tribute to his mother, Kathy, and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, with whom he shares Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 19 months.

Pratt wrote:

"Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there!"
"Love to my Mom Kathy who set a high bar for her love, patience, humor, and joy in motherhood."

He continued, expressing his gratitude for his wife.

"And a special thank you my darling Katherine for all you do."
"Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day."
"The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace."
"It’s truly a marvel."

The Guardians of the Galaxy star shared a carousel of photos featuring both his mother and Schwarzenegger.

And just like last year, fans hashed it out in the comments.

Many shared their disappointment that Pratt again left Faris out of his tribute to the special mothers in his life.

Others, however, defended Pratt, emphasizing that Faris is his ex, and the actor should not feel obligated to include her in his post.

Last year, the actor faced similar backlash as he honored his mother, his wife, and his mother-in-law Maria Schriver in his Mother's Day post on Instagram, writing in the caption:

"Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there."
"Especially grateful today for Katherine. You’re a wonderful partner. You’ve provided me such a blessed life."
"Our two daughters are so lucky to have you and you’re the best step mama to Jack."

He went on to gush over his own mother and Schwarzenegger's mother, as well.

"And to my mom, Kathy, you raised us with such love and light and laughter— so grateful for you today and always."
"And to Maria, the best Mama G, I’m lucky to have you as a mother-in-law."
"And to all of the other moms in my life, I’m so grateful for all you do- thank you so much."
"Hope you feel celebrated today."

Pratt also faced criticism in 2021 when he thanked Schwarzenegger in a post celebrating her birthday for giving him a "gorgeous healthy daughter."

Fans were quick to accuse him of intentionally flaunting his daughter's health; his son Jack, whom he shares with Faris, was born prematurely and faced serious health issues.

Pratt and Faris were married from 2009-2017 and welcomed Jack in 2012.

Schwarzenegger and Pratt have been married since June of 2019. Their daughter Lyla Maria was born in August 2020, and Eloise Christina was born in May 2022.

Trump Slammed For Posting Overtly Racist AI Video Attacking Democratic Leaders After Meeting

President Donald Trump's racism was on full display after meeting with Democrats Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer in a failed attempt to prevent the looming government shutdown—the president shared an AI-generated video featuring Jeffries in a sombrero and Schumer calling Democrats "woke pieces of sh*t."

The video, presented to the tune of the “Mexican Hat Dance,” was Trump's response to failed negotiations regarding Democrats' rejection of the Republicans’ proposed continuing resolution to keep the government open without considering an extension of the premium tax credit that helps subsidize health insurance for people earning between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level.
