Chris Evans Being Named 'Sexiest Man Alive' Just Reminded Fans He Has A Bunch Of Chest Tattoos

Last year, Chris Evans sent the internet into a frenzy during a video interview with his brother. The buzz, however, was not about the interview itself but about Evans' barely (the word being used generously) exposed chest tattoos.

Now, a year and a half later, the phenomenon has resurfaced.

Evans was named People magazine's 2022 Sexiest Man Alive. On the cover of the November issue, Evans' partially unveiled ink once again steals the spotlight.

As if the initial 2021 wave of excitement never existed, fans flipped over their new 'discovery.'

Though the Captain America star usually keeps his ink covered, People was able to expose some of the art's meanings.

The actor revealed that the main reason the tattoos are on his chest is, in fact, because it's an area that's not as exposed as much in films, equating to less time in the makeup chair.

Evans shared that most of his art pays tribute to his family, including his dog Dodger, and all are very meaningful to him.

He even has a quote from The Power of Now author Eckhart Tolle:

"When you lose touch with your inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself, when you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world."

And, of course, Evans also has an Avengers tattoo, matching with Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner.
