Lauren Boebert Gets Called All The Way Out After Calling Supreme Court Expansion 'Political Terrorism'

On Thursday, April 15, Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado took to Twitter to complain in response to reports some Democrats were preparing a bill to expand the Supreme Court again.

According to Harvard Law & Policy Review, the SCOTUS has been adjusted in size seven times throughout its history. Additionally, they pointed out the United States Constitution established the SCOTUS, but didn't specify a size.

However U.S. history and the Constitution has never deterred Boebert from stoking false outrage among her followers.

Boebert tweeted:

"Packing the Supreme Court is an act of political terrorism."

Many on Twitter found this accusation particularly hypocritical considering Boebert's acceptance of armed Trump supporters storming the Capitol on January 6.

Many also pointed out the Republican party's own history of packing the courts, something Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is particularly proud of.

It was hard for many to believe Boebert could be so oblivious to her own words online.

Boebert's relationship with political terrorism has been...shakey at best.

Twitter made sure Boebert's tweet was suitably criticized from every angle.

If Boebert wants to be taken seriously online, she'd be better off not reminding users of her encouragement of the January 6 insurrection.

MAGA Influencer Charlie Kirk Called Out After Blaming DEI For High Death Toll In Texas Flooding Disaster

Turning Point USA founder and MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk was harshly criticized after he claimed the death toll in the flash floods that have devastated central Texas "would not have been as high if it wasn't for DEI," ridiculously suggesting that principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion were responsible.

Kirk's comments are reflective of President Donald Trump’s broader push to dismantle federal programs focused on diversity and inclusion—part of what he pledged in his inaugural address would be a campaign to stop attempts to “socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”
