TikToker @chickennugget8806 is convinced someone was murdered in the laundry room of her new home after discovering what appeared to be blood stains—including bloody footprints—under the floorboards.

A woman on TikTok went viral after discovering what she believed to be a murder scene under the floorboards in her new home.

TikToker @chickennugget8806 shared with viewers that a leak in her laundry room led her to discover blood stains hidden beneath more recently-installed flooring.

She began her video:

"We just bought a home and I think someone may've been shmurdered in it."
"Because tonight, we had a leak in our laundry room."

The TikToker continued:

"Well our laundry room was one of the only places upstairs that had flooring and because of the leak we just had to rip out of the flooring and let me show you what we found."

She then flipped the camera to show the laundry room.

"First off you're gonna ignore the mess because obviously, we're trying to get water up."

Revealing a large dark stain accompanied by smaller darkly-colored footprints emerging from it, the creator asked:

"But what is this?"
"There is literal footprints on this stuff."
"I am freaking out right now, I am waiting on a plumber and that's gonna cost me a little over a grand just for him to get here but, somebody tell me that I'm overreacting?"

Sharing that she hopes it's just paint—but acknowledging that it likely is not—she went on:

"I'm pretty sure it's not paint, because I'm gonna show you something where like the sticky tiles peeled up, what's underneath it."
"It's underneath the sticky tile, too."
"And if you've ever dealt with stuff like that, or know people that work in the field of cleaning up stuff like that, paint doesn't soak through tiles like that."
"So send help."

Should i sage? Or?….

The TikToker was not the only one who was absolutely not okay with this discovery.

Most of her 17.4 million viewers were floored, as well.

@chickennugget8806 took their advice and provided an update after.

Showing a photo of an officer investigating the stain, the TikToker shared:

"So the officer told me that there has been no calls to this address before for anything suspicious that would result in this amount of blood and he also told me that the peroxide I had was 3 percent and not 6 percent and apparently that makes a difference."

The creator was informed that more information was needed and more tests would likely be administered.

"After he looked at it he asked questions too."
"So, y'all this is my real life, this is a house I just bought, none of this was for clout, they are apparently calling some people in to come do some more tests."

She then addressed viewers telling her she should pack up and leave immediately.

"I guess I don't know, everybody who's telling me to move out in this economy, I just dumped all my money into this house, so, if it's a shmurder house if they don't tell me I have to move out, my a** is gonna be here, so, there's that."

In her final video about the situation, the TikToker shared that police determined the stain was not human blood.

While she's still unsure of what the substance actually was, she at least found some peace that a murder did not take place in her laundry room.

The TikToker then shared footage of herself "turning this smurder house into a smurder home."

What a relief!

Gavin Newsom Expertly Trolls Trump Administration With Parody Spirit Halloween Costume Memes

California Governor Gavin Newsom had social media users cackling after he, in a series of photos on X, mocked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with photoshopped meme versions of Spirit Halloween costumes.

Noem, who has led the nationwide immigration crackdown that continues to tear apart families around the country, is the "Border Barbie" of one meme that pokes fun at her for shooting her dog, her penchant for bringing camera crews wherever she goes, and the way South Park writers lampooned her in one of its most widely-seen episodes this year.
