After noticing her daughter's lunchbox leaking, TikToker and mom Madi Cochrane decided to see what her 5-year-old packed herself for lunch—and she certainly gave it her best effort.

A mom on TikTok went viral after sharing her 5-year-old daughter's attempt at packing her own school lunch.

And while her findings were quite hilarious, they were also rather impressive.

Mom and TikToker Madi Cochrane (@madicochrane) revealed her discovery to viewers after noticing her daughter Ellie's lunchbox was leaking.

Cochrane explained to PEOPLE that she had company over when Ellie decided to pack her meal for the next day, so it wasn't even on her radar.

“I didn't even think anything about it until I went upstairs to get ready for bed, and I saw the lunch box was in the backpack, and the backpack was leaking.”

After removing the leaking lunchbox from the backpack, Cochrane brought it back to the kitchen so she could share with all of TikTok what she found.

She first explained:

"My daughter Ellie is five. When she doesn't like the option of what's for lunch at school, she will pack her own lunch."

The TikToker mentioned that she normally checks it and heats and packages Ellie's choices as needed before sending her off for school.

She then began to remove the items one by one from the lunchbox, revealing a frozen corn dog (placed in a plastic bag), an orange, a bottle of water, a packet of ketchup as condiments are necessary, a GoMacro Kids bar, cheese balls, a chewy granola bar for "snack time" at school and a Go-Gurt.

The very last retrieved item, however, was the culprit of the mystery leak: the liquid remains of what once was a bag of ice.

"I could be wrong... I'm assuming it's to keep [the Go-Gurt] cold."
"Bless her heart. Oh my goodness."

Cochrane added:

"I'm proud of her for packing her own lunch and being independent."
"I mean great options here."

She said she would heat up the corndog in the morning and add a freeze pack, but otherwise, the lunch was mom-approved.

"I love her so much."

Cochran told PEOPLE that Ellie was born prematurely at just 28 weeks and spent 55 days in the NICU.

Doctors said that she would likely experience developmental delays in areas, so the family sought occupational therapy, to which Cochrane attributes the independence.

Cochrane said:

“Through occupational therapy, I think that has helped her become a little bit more independent."
“As her mom, I was extremely proud of her, even though the ice was everywhere, she tried her best, and that's what matters most to me."
"If she wants to pack her own lunch, I'm not gonna tell her no to something that she enjoys doing — and I'll always check it.”

She added:

“She's right where she needs to be today."
"And so that's why, another reason why I really encourage her [to be] independent, because it just blows us all away.”

Elizabeth Warren Rips Education Secretary's Mind-Numbing Video For 'Teacher Appreciation Week'

Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren criticized Education Secretary Linda McMahon for paying tribute to educators during "Teacher Appreciation Week," noting the hypocrisy of McMahon's actions as she honors teachers on one hand and works to dismantle the Department of Education on the other.

In March, President Donald Trump signed an executive order empowering McMahon “to the maximum extent appropriate and permitted by law, take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return authority over education to the States and local communities.”
