Ye Has To Pay Kim Kardashian A Staggering Amount Every Month After Settling Their Divorce

The rapper and reality television star finally settled their divorce on Tuesday—including how much child support he'll pay each month.

Rapper Ye and reality TV star and founder of KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce on Tuesday after the couple parted ways citing "irreconcilable differences."

As part of the divorce settlement, Ye reportedly will owe a whopping $200,000 a month in child support.

Matters regarding property issues and who is entitled to what–including major decisions centered on their children's well-being–were resolved.

The two share joint custody of their four kids–North age 9, Saint age 6, Chicago age 4 and Psalm age 3.

Documents from the proceedings stated school and security expenses for the children will be evenly divided between Ye and Kardashian.

Despite documents stating the two will have "equal access" to the four children, according to TMZ, Ye will owe $200,000 a month in child support with the understanding that Kardashian–who is, as of 2022, estimated to be worth $1.8 billion–will be with the kids "80% of the time."

The media outlet noted Ye will not be footing the entire bill for child support.

The $200,000–which is expected to be deposited into Kardashian's account on the first of each month–is just his share.

Ye is responsible for 50% of their kids' educational expenses including tuition and 50% of their security expenses.

Social media users were floored at the decision and had plenty to say about it.

Some didn't understand what the fuss was all about.

After they started dating in 2012, Ye and Kardashian became engaged on October 21, 2013–the businesswoman's 33rd birthday.

They were married on May 24, 2014 in Florence, Italy.

On February 19, 2021 Kardashian officially filed for divorce from the rapper.

In April 2021 both agreed in front of the court to end their marriage due to "irreconcilable differences" and agreed to share custody of their children.

Kardashian was legally declared single on March 2, 2022 after she filed a complaint to speed up the divorce proceedings citing Ye was in denial their marriage was over.

Their divorce settlement follows a number of recent controversies surrounding the rapper–including the news headline of major brands such as Adidas, Balenciaga and Peloton severing ties with Ye after he made a series of antisemitic comments including a tweet wishing to go "death con 3 on Jewish people."
