Reddit user Reasonable-Disk-976 asked: 'What is the worst thing that a person can put on their bio on a dating app?'

We all hope that we'll end up meeting our one true love in situations one would normally find in a Jane Austen novel or Nora Ephron film.

Of course, that is seldom, if ever, the case, and most people rely on meeting their partners through dating websites and apps.

And in order to get prospective mates to swipe right or message them, people go to great lengths to make sure their profile pops.

However, some people might work a little too hard on their profiles, resulting in exactly the opposite reaction from possible future spouses they were hoping to get.

Often because of one, fatal mistake.

Redditor Reasonable-Disk-976 was curious to hear what people considered the biggest errors all too frequently made on dating profiles, leading them to ask:

"What is the worst thing that a person can put on their bio on a dating app?"

"Women on Bumble with 'Message me first' or some variation of 'I don't message first'...

"Two issues there:"

"A. It looks like you copy/pasted your bio from another profile, which can seem lazy to some."

"B. It's Bumble, and women have to message first, otherwise the conversation doesn't happen."

"If you're not copy/pasting a bio from another app, the implication is you 1) don't know how the app works or 2) you don't have any intention of messaging people and are on the app for?"- MRandall25

You Look A Lot Younger In Your Picture...

"Might not be the worst thing possible, but the most confusing thing I see a lot with women's profiles is their main picture being just an image of their kid."

RFK Jr. Admits That Banning Fluoridated Water Will Cause 'More Cavities'—But He's OK With That

Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was criticized after admitting in a Fox News interview with Harris Faulkner that his proposed fluoridated water ban would likely lead people to have more cavities—but defended the move nonetheless.

While fluoride is not federally mandated in drinking water, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had long recommended its inclusion. Fluoride helps prevent cavities by strengthening enamel, and numerous studies have shown that fluoridated water reduces tooth decay in both children and adults.

Jesse Watters Dragged After Trying To Give Mamdani A Scary Nickname That's Actually Kind Of Epic

Fox News personality Jesse Watters was widely mocked after he tried to give New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani a scary nickname in the vein of Conan the Destroyer—only for it to backfire considerably.

Watters is the latest member of the GOP to lash out at Mamdani, a democratic socialist who handily defeated former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in New York City's Democratic mayoral primary last week.
