Viral Ultrasound Video Shows What Happens To Your Baby When You Laugh During Pregnancy

Myka Giles shared a hilarious video on TikTok of a pregnant patient's ultrasound showing what happened when she laughed.

The go-to description of pregnancy is usually "beautiful" with an occasional "miracle" thrown in.

But "mind-blowing" and occasionally "hilarious" deserve their flowers, too.

Growing and developing a whole other human who will be self-sustaining in the future is a wild biological concept, and as demonstrated by TikToker Myka Giles, the videographer and ultrasound tech behind the @peekatbaby4d account, it can be funny at times as well.

Giles frequently shares videos on the account of different baby positions during ultrasounds and what to expect from 4D ultrasounds—and, alongside one mom, she was able to share what it looks like in the womb when a pregnant mother laughs.

Obviously, when we laugh, we engage our stomach muscles—but no one would have expected how much that could impact the growing baby.

When the anonymous mom started giggling, the familiar peanut-shaped space around the baby began to warp, and the more she laughed, the more the space shrank and jostled the baby around.

Mid-video, the space went back to normal while the mom held her breath and tried to compose herself. But when she experienced another bout of laughter, the uterus bounced around so much that the videographer even lost sight of the baby!

As mind-blowing and awe-inspiring as pregnancy might be, videos like this are great reminders of the sweeter and funnier moments that can be so easily overlooked.

This video will undoubtedly make an adorable memory for the mom-to-be to keep for herself but also to share with her child when they're a little older.

Knowing that this isn't actually harmful for the baby, either, and simply looks like a silly joy ride makes the display that much funnier and even more memorable.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

MAGA Politicians Called Out After Falling For AI-Generated Photo Of U.S. Airmen Rescue In Iran

At least two Republican politicians are facing criticism after they fell for a clearly A.I.-generated photo of the rescue of two U.S. airmen whose fighter jet went down in Iran over the weekend.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
