The Universe has a new Miss and Ty Ty approves.
Miss Philippines, Catriona Gray, was crowned Miss Universe 2018 on Sunday night, and some are speculating that her signature runway walk may have sealed the deal.
Even America's Next Top Model creator and supermodel Tyra Banks agreed.
The final moment arrived.
Folks just could not get over that walk.
Banks reached out to Gray on Twitter to show her support and the two shared a special social media moment.
If Tyra loves it, we all love it.
McHale, who played disabled Artie Abrams on the musical show, recently took to X to post a heated takedown of those who speak so cavalierly about the real lives of real people from the show.

McHale's angry post comes amid renewed discourse about Glee following series creator Ryan Murphy recently hinting that he is thinking of rebooting the musical show, which centered on a high school glee club and aired from 2009-2015.
Murphy recently told People:
"I had a great time making that show. My nostalgia and love for that show is enough that I'm like: ‘Well, maybe people would like to see a new incarnation of that in some capacity.'"
"So yeah, I love that show, and I loved what it became and what it meant to so many people."
This news reignited discussion of the so-called "Glee curse," in which people have theorized for years that the show was cursed due to the number of deaths, accidents, and crimes tied to cast and crewmembers.
Most famous are the tragic deaths of stars Corey Monteith, due to an alcohol and heroin overdose in 2013, and Naya Rivera due to an accidental drowning in 2020, leaving behind a 4-year-old son.
Members of the crew died during the show as well, including rigger Mitchell Byerley and production assistant Nancy Moates, who both died by suicide while working on the show.
Another crew member, Jim Fuller, died of a heart attack at 41 while working on the show, as did another crew member named Paul and one of star Matthew Morrison's stand-ins.
The show has been plagued by scandals as well, including cast member Melissa Benoist's allegations of domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband and costar Blake Jenner, and accusations of racism and combativeness toward star Lea Michele.
Perhaps most disturbing of all was star Mark Salling's 2015 arrest and 2017 guilty plea for possession of some 25,000 images and videos of child sex abuse. Salling later died by suicide in 2018.
Given the gravity of all these tragedies, McHale was understandably infuriated by the discourse. He wrote on X:
"let me log off today because the way too many of you talk about real people who have passed as a 'sacrifice' or a 'curse' in regards to a tv show is fu*king diabolical and untethered from any sort of humanity or reality. get fu*ked."
On X, many fans readily agreed with him, saying they were disturbed by the public's hunger for drama that involves the real lives of real people.
Once again, people's love of gossip has obscured the humanity of the people involved, and it's hard to blame McHale for finding it abhorrent.
"I care deeply about the outliers, the maligned people who have very difficult lives, people who are forgotten and overlooked and unwanted and unloved. Like I care deeply about making the world more fair and free for those people. And a lot of politicians have lost the plot."
Ritchson was especially critical of the Trump administration's actions regarding the files compiled in 2019 by Trump's Justice Department and FBI to indict and arrest previously convicted and registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Ritchson, a classmate of former Florida MAGA Representative Matt Gaetz, made clear during his sitdown on both the Happy Sad Confused and Armchair Expert podcasts that covering up pedophilia and other sex crimes and protecting the perpetrators was unpresidential behavior. He also questioned what the Trump administration does prioritize and divert money toward.
On the Armchair Expert podcast, Ritchson said of Trump:
"I'm just supposed to let go of my resentment that this f*cking guy is just raping the world that he lives in for whatever gain he personally can have, and I'm supposed to let that go?"

Ritchson's opinions were widely applauded across social media, but the actor, who trained for years in musical theater and made it to the Hollywood round of American Idol in 2004, drew immediate ire from Trump's devoted fans.
On Fox News' The Five, MAGA comedian Greg Gutfeld responded, claiming:
"This has nothing to do with politics... It says absolutely nothing about Donald Trump, but it says too much about [Ritchson]."
"If you look at him, it is really a powerful contrast: a guy that is so physically fit, but spiritually, he’s diseased. It’s probably likely connected, the obsession is a distraction. He’s not enjoying himself.
"I think the interviewer was trying to get at the fact that it’s the resentment that is eating him alive, and essentially poisoning himself, and no amount of squats and bench presses are going to get rid of that."
Abandoning the usual defense MAGA uses against any criticism of their Dear Leader, Gutfeld added:
"This is not TDS. TDS is something else... If you remove the ‘Trump is evil’ narrative, there is something else there. And this just happens to bring it out."

Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell were longtime close friends of Trump. Early reviews of the Epstein investigation files, which had been sealed by court order until 2024, revealed Trump was heavily featured in the records.
In 2002, decades into Epstein's sex trafficking operation, Trump told New York Magazine:
"I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it, Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

In July of 2025, Trump finally let slip why he and Epstein parted ways.
Unlike his defenders claims it was because of Epstein's sex crimes against girls and women, the POTUS told the press Epstein's "inappropriate" action was poaching Trump's female employees, including underage Epstein survivor Virginia Giuffre, from his spa at Mar-a-Lago.
Despite campaigning on a promise to release the full Epstein files, Trump's tune changed once elected. The Trump administration has alternately claimed they had the files, there were no files, the files were a hoax, and the files were created by former Democratic Presidents Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to discredit Trump, despite Trump's own DOJ creating them.
It took an act of Congress, the bipartisan sponsored Epstein Files Transparency Act, to get any records released. Despite deadlines coming and going, the Trump administration hasn't released unredacted files exposing perpetrators.
Instead, Trump's DOJ released heavily redacted files that primarily exposed names of victims, causing the files to again be withheld from the public.
"It's not an option."
Remember: if winning isn't an option, then losing is the only one left. That should have been clear to whoever hit "publish."

The optics also couldn't be worse.
A CBS News poll released last Sunday found that roughly 63% of Americans said they felt "very" or "somewhat" negative about the way the war with Iran is unfolding. Since the fighting began, at least 18 U.S. service members have been killed and 624 wounded, according to CNN, while the conflict has also strained American weapons stockpiles.
One social media user was wise enough to take a screenshot of the post before it disappeared into the ether.
The mockery was swift.
At a Cabinet meeting at Camp David on Friday, President Donald Trump defended the U.S. war effort, calling it "amazing" and arguing that, unlike conflicts in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Korea, the campaign against Iran has been comparatively brief. He also claimed that "Iran is doing very poorly."
At the same time, however, Trump acknowledged that he was growing skeptical about the prospects for a negotiated settlement, saying he was "losing faith" because, in his view, Iranian officials "lie," "misrepresent," and "break their word so often."
Trump vowed to continue intensifying U.S. strikes on Iran, saying the military campaign would continue "very hard" until Tehran changed course.
Trump believes Iran will eventually be forced to concede. "We'll be hitting them very hard," he said. "At some point, they're going to say, 'We just can't take it anymore.'"
The statues were unveiled in 1951 and restored in 1974. In June, the Interior Department announced plans to "auramaxx" the monuments as part of a broader Washington beautification initiative expected to cost at least $95 million. The regilding of the statues alone carries a price tag of approximately $5.1 million.

[Secretary Doug Bergum] recently ordered the massive Arts of War and Arts of Peace equestrian statues for regilding for the first time since 1971. According to reporting by NOTUS:
"In mid-April, the National Park Service hired The Gilders’ Studio in Maryland to restore the 80,000-pound statue pairs, known as the Arts of War and Arts of Peace."
"According to agency documentation, the gilding company is covering the statues in an unusually thick layer of nearly pure gold — heavier and purer than even the “extra-thick” gold the same studio used to refinish the exterior of the Wyoming state capital dome seven years ago."
"The $5 million contract includes more work than just the gold leafing, although the gold itself is certain to be a significant part of the cost, with the price of gold essentially doubling over the last several years."
Thus far, the two Arts of War statues—"Valor" and "Sacrifice"—have been finished, with restoration on the Arts of Peace sculptures well under way.
They look positively Trumpian, as gold and gaudy as you might expect.

The statues have sparked anger amid Trump's continued efforts to transform the nation's capital, which he often claims was falling apart until he took office again.
The spending comes just months after Trump argued that the federal government could no longer afford programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and child care, saying responsibility for those services should fall to the states while Washington prioritizes military spending.
So much for that.
It all went down when Berner recalled the aftermath of a cosmetic treatment gone sideways after getting masseter Dysport injections in her jaw to help manage TMJ symptoms.
But Berner wasn't about to let the awkward side effect have the last laugh:
"The one thing that's getting me through this (smile gate), I'm getting so much attention."
For those wondering, TMJ refers to the temporomandibular joint, which connects the jaw to the skull. Dysport is a botulinum toxin type A, similar to Botox, that's sometimes used to relax the jaw muscles and relieve TMJ symptoms. The effects typically last three to six months and require repeat treatments.
Like any medical treatment, however, it can come with potential side effects, including a frozen or uneven smile.
After realizing her smile wasn't quite cooperating, Berner headed to social media with what she jokingly dubbed an "emergency press conference."
Explaining how it all started, Berner recalled:
"Two weeks ago, I innocently went to get masseter Dysport for my TMJ, and I went to a new place... I didn't even know this could happen. Is it possible that the poison that was injected into my face is now gonna ruin my face? Would this be the repercussions of my own actions?"
The comedian attempted to flash a smile, but her face had other plans. Instead, she was left with a tight, lopsided grin that only made the situation even funnier.
Looking back on the experience, she admitted:
"And this is the thing: When stuff like this happens in your life, it's not about what happens to you, but how you react to it. And have I reacted to it great? No."
That doesn't mean Berner wasn't frustrated. At one point, she confessed to DeSorbo, "Sorry, I'm so depressed right now," before inevitably finding another reason to laugh at herself.
