The Kansas City Chiefs star sparked jokes online after he showed up to the Super Bowl on Sunday wearing a 1970s-style suit.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce turned heads when he arrived at the Super Bowl ahead of the game and made a viral fashion statement that was a 1970s throwback.

The Philadelphia Eagles smashed with a 40-22 victory, denying Kelce's team from making a three-peat with consecutive Super Bowl wins.

However, Chiefs fans were all smiles when reflecting on Kelce's freaky-deaky rust-colored disco suit and matching bell bottoms before kickoff.

You can see the NFL star strutting towards the sports arena in his groovy Amiri suit paired with tinted aviator sunglasses in the clip below.

X (formerly Twitter) user Link Lauren wrote:

"Travis Kelce arrives looking like a 70s porn director… or maybe an extra in Starsky & Hutch. Thoughts?"

Needless to say, the internet was digging his stride.

They also shared thoughts on what his retro aesthetic reminded them of.

Regardless of the game's outcome, Kelce came prepared like a boss.

Sunday marked the Chief's seventh Super Bowl appearance, with four wins in franchise history, three of which occurred in the past five years.

Meanwhile, Kelce's sweetheart, Taylor Swift, was among the celebrities who attended the game. She was spotted wearing an oversized white blazer with a white tank underneath, jorts, and thigh-high boots.
