The GOP Rep. and former White House physician was seen doing something awfully suspicious behind a large piece of poster board.

Social media users are buzzing with curiosity over a recent incident involving Texas Republican Representative Ronny Jackson on Tuesday in Congress.

While another lawmaker was discussing energy, Jackson's head could be seen peeking out from behind a poster board, fidgeting and awkwardly shifting around.

To make matters worse, the Congressman was also seen sticking a finger near or perhaps inside his nose, much to the amusement of onlookers.

You can see the footage below for yourself.

Many Twitter users have taken to the platform to express their shock and confusion over the incident.

Some even speculated about what Jackson might have been up to behind the poster board.

Others made jokes and humorous observations about the situation

Jackson is one of the most dedicated Trump acolytes in Congress.

In August 2021, Jackson claimed President Joe Biden is no longer “cognitively prepared to be our president,” joining the chorus of Republicans who criticized Biden over his administration's handling of the crisis in Afghanistan that unfolded when the Taliban stepped into the power vacuum following the fall of Kabul.

At the time, Jackson said the United States is "looking horrible right now on the world stage" and called for him to resign because "it’s time for him to move on and it’s time for somebody else to do this job."

Just months before, Jackson sent a letter to Physician to the President Kevin O’Connor and Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci demanding that Biden take a cognitive test. 14 House Republicans also signed the letter.

Jackson has been a largely controversial figure since his days as the White House doctor. During a January 2018 press briefing, Jackson vouched for Trump's health, saying his neurological functions are excellent and assuring the press corps that he would be able to serve his entire term.

Jackson was widely mocked after adding that Trump likely had "incredible genes" that allowed him to remain healthy despite a lack of exercise and a taste for fast food.

'Latinas For Trump' Co-Founder Gets Brutal Wakeup Call After Calling Out Trump For 'Inhumane' Immigrant Arrests

Florida Republican state Senator Ileana Garcia was criticized after she—the founder of Latinas for Trump—denounced the Trump administration's "inhumane" arrests of immigrants and said that she and other Trump supporters had not "voted for" this, completely ignoring that President Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do.

Garcia spoke out after Florida Republican Representative Maria Elvira Salazar released a statement expressing that she is “fully aware” of—and “heartbroken” over—the Trump administration’s recent immigration measures. Salazar said these actions have “left thousands exposed to deportation” and threatened “our duty to due process that every democracy must guarantee.”
