The existence of what we now commonly call the "G-Spot," a place at the front of the vagina that, when stimulated, can cause an intense orgasm, was first suggested in an academic setting by Dr. Ernst Grafenberg. He wasn't the one who suggested the term "G-Spot," though.

Professor Beverly Whipple was working with Dr. John Perry on research to prove the existence of this elusive spot in the 1970s when someone suggested they name it after Whipple.

Dr. Whipple told the BBC:

"Someone said: 'Why not call it the Whipple Tickle?'"
"But I said: 'No, we are going to name it after Dr Grafenberg.' Then we included it in scientific papers before the book came out."

With the existence of the g-spot being called into question (again) because of new research, there is a possibility that this may all just become part of history. However, it's still a little disappointing to know that we missed out on "The Whipple Tickle."

Even Trump's NASA Director Had To Set Kim Kardashian Straight After She Said The Moon Landing 'Didn't Happen'

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy—who is also NASA's Acting Administrator—issued the weirdest fact-check ever when he corrected reality star Kim Kardashian after she revealed herself to be a moon landing conspiracist.

Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax—and Kardashian certainly made it clear where she stands in a video speaking to co-star Sarah Paulson on the set of the new Hulu drama All’s Fair.

Special Olympics Fires Back At Kid Rock With Powerful Statement After He Used 'The R-Word' To Describe Halloween Costume

MAGA singer Kid Rock was called out by Loretta Claiborne, the Chief Inspiration Officer of the Special Olympics, after he used the "r-word"—a known ableist slur—to describe his Halloween costume this year.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, was speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters when he donned a face mask and said he'd be going as a "r**ard" for Halloween. Watters had guessed he was dressed as Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who spearheaded the nation's COVID-19 pandemic response.
