Audience Gasps as Former Trump Campaign Manager Tells Congress He Has 'No Obligation to Be Honest with the Media'

Audience Gasps as Former Trump Campaign Manager Tells Congress He Has 'No Obligation to Be Honest with the Media'

And there you have it, folks.

On the White House's orders, Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski stonewalled lawmakers' questions in a House Judiciary Committee hearing investigating one of President Donald Trump's attempts to obstruct the Mueller Investigation.

Despite parting ways with the campaign in 2016, Lewandowski continued to advise Trump behind the scenes as a private citizen. When former White House Counsel Don McGahn refused to carry out Trump's request to demand former Attorney General Jeff Sessions un-recuse himself from the Russia investigation, Trump turned to Lewandowski.

After hours of constantly telling lawmakers that he wouldn't detail any private conversations he'd had with the President, it looked like the first "impeachment hearing" held by Congress would amount to little.

Then, Committee counsel Barry Berke was allowed 30 minutes of questioning, and things quickly fell apart for Lewandowski.

Watch below.

After playing an MSNBC clip in which Lewandowski claimed the President had never asked him to get in touch with Jeff Sessions and demand he un-recuse himself, Berke asked, "That wasn't true was it, sir?"

Lewandowski responded:

"I have no obligation to be honest with the media, cause they're just as dishonest as anybody else."

People observing the proceedings audibly gasped. Berke continued to ask Lewandowski if he'd been truthful in the MSNBC interview, then admonished Lewandowski for having to consult his counsel to properly answer. Lewandowski responded by assuring Berke that he does tell the truth...when under oath.

Hours before, during the hearing, Lewandowski announced his run for Senate via tweet.

People weren't surprised that a Trump loyalist lied, but that they were so bad at covering it up when testifying.

Despite Lewandowski openly admitting he felt no obligation to be truthful when advocating for Trump on national television, CNN had him on the air by Wednesday morning.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy Ripped Over Bonkers Idea For How To Bring 'Civility' Back To Air Travel

Sean Duffy—MTV's Real World Boston "party animal"-turned-resigned Wisconsin Republican Representative-turned-Fox News personality-turned-Transportation Secretary for MAGA Republican President Donald Trump—went back to his former employer, Fox News, to reveal the Trump administration's plan to improve air travel.

But it wasn’t rehiring all the air traffic controllers fired or retired by Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), or reinstating the airline accountability requirements that Trump revoked, or investigating allegations of abusive behavior by TSA or immigration agents.

Anyone who has lived in a rental has had the experience of a maintenance worker entering their space, whether it was to repair an appliance or do a general inspection to make sure everything was up to code.

Sometimes these encounters are a little bit awkward while you have a stranger in your home, but other than trying to behave normally while waiting for them to leave, they usually do what they need to do, leave, and that's that.

Elon Musk Dragged After Programming Grok To Claim He's 'More Fit' Than LeBron James

Billionaire Elon Musk was widely mocked after X users discovered he'd programmed his AI chatbot Grok to praise his physique by saying he's "fitter than" basketball star LeBron James.

Musk is actually on record saying that he wouldn't exercise if he could, that he's not been consistent meeting with his personal trainer, and that he would "rather eat tasty food and live a shorter life." But to hear Grok tell it, Musk is more fit than one of the top basketball players on the planet—and smarter than some of humanity's greatest minds.
