People Describe The Most Beautiful Place They've Ever Visited

Reddit user accepd asked: 'What is the most beautiful place you have ever visited?'

While travel isn't everyone's cup of tea or on everyone's wishlist, we can all agree that there are beautiful sights to see all over the world.

And realistically, if you can help it, there are some that you really shouldn't miss.

Curious about what others would add to their travel list, Redditor accepd asked:

"What is the most beautiful place you have ever visited?"

Switzerland Mountain Views

"Any mountain neighborhood in Switzerland."

- imaketrollfaces

"I cried in Switzerland. I always wanted to go there. I wanted to live there at one point because knew it would be wonderful and beautiful. But it really hits you in the face when you get there."

- oneofmanyaccounts8

Surreal Sequoia National Park

"Sequoia National Park. I’ve lived in Europe and the Middle East, and traveled far and wide, and Sequoia National Park has my heart. Those trees make me cry, the lives they’ve lived, the stories they could tell. Majestic giants."

- Puzzleheaded_Loan987

Columbia River Gorge

"My favorite beer glass is from Double Mountain Brewery because it reminds me of the day the family and I hiked to see some waterfalls along the gorge and then relaxed with pizza, beer, and rootbeer at DMB with a view of the river (or at least proximity to the river)."

- nevernotmad

Unforgettable Fjords

"The Norwegian Fjords at sunrise. The way the light dances on the water and the sheer cliffs rise up from the mist is something out of a fairy tale."

- LivelyLilacLove

Banff National Park

"Lake Louise is my second favorite place on Earth. The Redwoods have a strong hold on number one, but d**n. Banff is unreal in its beauty! Can't wait to take my kids there!"

- oneplanetrecognize

Kanab, Utah

"Kanab, Utah. Just a half hour from Zion and puts you right in the middle of Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks, as well as numerous nearby slot canyons and picturesque areas."

"It's a quaint and charming town on the border of Utah and Arizona nestled against breathtaking red cliffs, with a long history in Hollywood westerns, and it's a favorite stopping point for many actors who've worked on sets in the area. Staying there was the most amazing and adventurous vacation I ever had."

- friendagony

The Garden Island

"Kauai, Hawaii. There’s a reason they call it the garden island. It’s pretty much paradise."

- NotNamedBort

Yosemite

"Yosemite absolutely blew me away. We went last year and when we return (which is hopefully soon!) We'd love to go backwoods camping/hiking. Getting lost in that landscape is like something out of a fairytale honestly."

- gabriel_oly10

Volcanic Iceland

"Every corner of this planet has exquisite beauty. Iceland is particularly incredible in that it boasts both volcanic splendor and icy vistas. And it’s largely untouched. If you go there, tread softly. Keep it untamed, and beautiful."

- ScrumpiLump2000

The Rocky Mountains and Surrounding Lakes

"The Rocky Mountains in Canada, specifically Moraine Lake."

- Honest_Importance_62

"Emerald Lake for me. I also love Roger's pass where the monument is. It is completely surrounded by tall peaks."

- jtbc

Going to the Sun Road

"The summit of the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana. I went in late summer and it was busy, but the views on every part of the drive were so gorgeous. The summit view was so beautiful, with the wildflowers, the other mountain peaks, and the sky."

- scipio79

Loch Lomond

"I love Loch Lomond, as it’s a view I saw out my bedroom window every day growing up, and from my dad's wee fishing boat when I was older. I always visit when I go home, and I get to see the view of the vale of level from the vale cemetery. Another beautiful spot is the blue mountains, and Negril beach at sunset on Jamaica."

- Scottishlassincanada

Machu Picchu, Period.

"Machu Picchu. Honestly, you gotta see it in person to understand how insanely beautiful the surroundings are the photos just don't do it justice."

- MaliHasy

Alberta, Canada

"Have been to all 50 USA states and about 38 countries now, and I have to say Banff National Park in Alberta Canada."

- Psillyjewishguy

"I went when I was a kid. I was eating a bag of dried apple snacks. A moose came over and stuck his head in the window and his nose went right into the apple snacks! They were then his apple snacks."

"Yes, it was incredibly beautiful there."

- RudeBlueJeans

Can't Beat the Turn of Fall Leaves

"Amtrak train from NYC to Syracuse while the leaves were changing. I’m from the Midwest, so we just don’t have the same type of fall foliage."

- _JPH_

There truly is so much beauty in this world, and while travel may not be everyone's favorite thing, everyone should pick at least one of the destinations on this list to try to witness in person, without any kind of lens between them and it, in their lifetime.

Lauren Boebert Casts Doubt On Moon Landing During Wild Interview With Conspiracy Theorist

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert was criticized after she seemingly agreed with the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was faked in a wide-ranging interview with conservative conspiracy theorist Alex Stein.

The segment began with the duo casting doubt on nuclear weapons—Boebert even joked about needing "tin foil"—and moved into weirder territory when Stein praised Boebert for "vibing" with him on the topic of the moon landing. Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax.
