The Winner Of A Massive $1.5 Billion Lottery Jackpot Has Finally Claimed Their Historic Payday

In October 2018, someone out there won the South Carolina Mega Millions jackpot, but the identity of the winner was left a mystery for many months. Officials had begun to worry that the winner may have lost their winning ticket but, finally, on March 4th, 2019, a winner came forward to claim their $1.5 billion—the biggest single payout in U.S. history!



People were stunned by the amount of money the winner would receive!


The winner decided to remain anonymous—a wise step according to many!



A sudden influx of so much cash isn't always a good thing.

Hopefully, the big winner will be able to keep their head on their shoulders.

Apparently, the winner attributes their success to karma—they let another customer cut them in line before purchasing the lucky ticket.


Some Twitter users couldn't understand why the winner had waited so long to come forward...


Everyone on social media found themselves wondering what their lives would be like with $850 million.
