Lauren Boebert Gets A Brutal Grammar Lesson After Mockingly Announcing Her New 'Pronoun'

Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado has already made a name for herself as one of the more troubling and difficult members of the freshman class in the House Of Representatives.

Now grammar mangler has been added to the list of criticisms.

In a tweet some saw as mocking the trans community or "woke culture," Boebert announced her "pronoun" was "Patriot."

A pronoun is defined as a "word that can function by itself and that refers either to the participants in the discourse (e.g., I, you ) or to someone or something mentioned elsewhere in the discourse (e.g., she, it, this) or signifies possession (her, his, theirs)."

The word "patriot" is a plain old noun.

A noun is a "word (except a pronoun) that identifies a person, place or thing, or names one of them (proper noun)."

Patriot is defined as "a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors."

But Boebert wasn't displaying her ignorance of English syntax.

She was trying to "own the libs"—which is what most of her legislative career seems focused on.

Boebert's attempted mockery comes with a history of anti-LGBTQ+ activism on her part. This lead some to think the tweet was directed at the trans community.

As a Representative, Boebert openly opposed the Equality Act.

She also opposed Spongebob Squarepants whom she claimed is definitely gay. There have been hints and speculation about the cartoon character much like Bert & Ernie, but no sexuality was assigned to Spongebob by his creator.

Sea sponges reproduce asexually in any case.

People were brutal in their responses to her latest tweet.

Boebert has gotten dragged on Twitter repeatedly. With another year left in Congress and a propensity for tweets like this, it is bound to happen again.

In the meantime, hopefully she learns her parts of speech.

The cable TV channel Cartoon Network, like most normal people, is celebrating Pride Month this month, and it did so with a post on Instagram that, predictably, has conservatives crying in their Cheerios like a bunch of triggered babies.

The post featured fan art depicting characters from the network's roster of shows over the years waving various LGBTQ+ Pride flags and the like.

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
