Kentucky Doctor Arrested After He's Caught On Video Strangling A Teen Girl For Ignoring Social Distancing With Her Friends

Kentucky Doctor Arrested After He's Caught On Video Strangling A Teen Girl For Ignoring Social Distancing With Her Friends

Social distancing is important because it can save lives.

But flouting social distancing is not an excuse for assajlt or murder, as a Louisville doctor has learned the hard way.

John Rademaker, a local physician in Louisville, Kentucky was caught on video choking a teenage girl after discovering her flouting social distancing rules with her friends.

After a tense exchange, Rademaker appears to jump on top of and begin to strangle one of the teens in the video.

The Louisville Metro Police Apartment released a statement:

"Obviously, we do not advise individuals concerned about social distancing to take matters into their own hands and confront people about it, especially in any physical way. We ask people who are concerned about large gatherings to call 311 or 911 to report their concerns."

Folks called for justice for the assault.

And some felt racism played a role in the assault.

l

His employer, Baptist Health, released a statement on the future of Rademaker's job:

"SIAC, a division of One Anesthesia PLLC is aware of the incident that occurred in Norton Commons with one of its physicians, who was not on official call or due to report to the hospital in any official capacity. With that said, the partners of SIAC, a division of One Anesthesia PLLC have decided to place the physician that appeared in the video on administrative leave as of April 5th pending further investigation. Our well wishes extend to all parties involved and we will continue to monitor this situation as new information develops."

And, though the doctor became irate because the girl and her friends were violating social distancing rules, he himself most definitely violated social distancing rules by committing assault.

Rademaker faces charges of strangulation in the first degree and harassment with physical contact.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
