The director had nothing but kind things to say about working with the actor on 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' and his subsequent career trajectory.

As predicted, Everything Everywhere All at Once was a big contender at this year's Golden Globes.

The film about about a Chinese-American immigrant mother and laundromat owner - played by Michelle Yeoh - who discovers parallel universes and uses newfound superpowers to basically save the world earned Yeoh and on-screen husband (played by Ke Huy Quan) two major awards.

Yeoh took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture while Ke Huy Quan won Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.

Upon accepting his award, an emotional Quan gave a beautiful speech that began with the actor thanking the person who gave him his first acting role—Steven Spielberg.

"I was raised to never forget where I came from and to always remember who gave me my first opportunity."
"I am so happy to see Steven Spielberg here tonight - Steven, thank you!"

An elated Spielberg blew a kiss to Quan from his seat.

Prior to his success from the new film, Quan was best known for his portrayal of the character Short Round in Spielberg's 1984 blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and his role as Data in the 1985 cult classic The Goonies, which was also conceived by Spielberg.

Quan continued that his opportunity in Everything Everywhere All at Once restored his faith in his career as he had little success for the more than three decades since his prominent childhood roles.

In a post-awards interview, Spielberg gushed about Quan to Access Hollywood.

"He has a positive energy, so full of positive love. And he just reaches out with his heart, and that's the way he was as a kid auditioning for the movie."

Of Quan's Golden Globe win, Spielberg beamed:

"When he got the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor, my heart just leaped out of my chest."

Spielberg himself walked away with the Golden Globe for Best Director of a Motion Picture for The Fabelmans, which is based on his childhood.

We will be able to see Quan in the upcoming season of Marvel's Loki this summer.

Congratulations to both men on their wins!

Viral Video Of Dad Performing Emotional 'Last Bite' Ritual With His Daughter On Her Wedding Day Has Us Sobbing

While a person's wedding day is meant to be a celebration of their love and starting a new life with their partner, it's also important to remember the life they're leaving "behind," specifically the household that raised them.

In a video that's gone viral multiple times before, a Chinese father presents his daughter, who is about to be married, with a bowl of dumplings. He then selects one dumpling and feeds it to her, as a reminder of how he raised her and symbolizing that this is the last time he'll take care of her before she becomes a married woman.
