Jen Psaki Destroys Fox News Reporter With a Smile After He Asks Why Biden Wore a Mask During Climate Summit

Jen Psaki Destroys Fox News Reporter With a Smile After He Asks Why Biden Wore a Mask During Climate Summit

This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) loosened its guidelines on mask wearing for people vaccinated against the pandemic that's killed nearly 600 thousand Americans.

The wearing of masks and face coverings, despite proven effectiveness in slowing the spread of the virus, became politicized under former President Donald Trump. As a result, swathes of his supporters have pushed back against mask recommendations and mandates.

That's likely what led Fox News reporter Peter Doocy to ask why President Joe Biden wore a mask indoors during a virtual climate summit with world leaders.

Before Doocy asked his question, White House press secretary Jen Psaki congratulated him on his recent marriage—then proceeded to poke holes in his assumptions.

Watch below.

Doocy asked:

"Why was President Biden the only world leader at the Climate Summit Zoom who was wearing a mask?"

The White House press secretary curtly answered:

"Because he is sending a message to the world that he is putting in place precautions, continuing to do that as leader of the United States. ... Obviously he had a pool there for portions. There were additional staff there, additional personnel. And that's the sort of model that we try to keep ourselves to here."

The Fox reporter falsely responded...

"But I know the CDC's website and their guidance is that you can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or staying six feet apart, so…"

...Only to be debunked by Psaki yet again.

"That's actually for — in your private home, so it's not workplace guidance, and we still wear masks around here, just like you are all wearing masks, and we wear masks in our offices and continue to abide by that until that guidance changes."

Psaki's adept takedown was praised across social media.

Doocy may have still been beaming from his recent wedding, but his reception was...less than kind.

Doocy also asked a question about the now-debunked report that Vice President Kamala Harris' children's book was included in welcome packets for kids at the border.

Trump Repeats Debunked Claim He Predicted 9/11 'A Year Before' It Happened In Bizarre Rant During Iran Remarks

President Donald Trump was called out for repeating his debunked claim that he predicted the September 11 terror attacks "a year before" they happened—all while speaking at the White House about his war with Iran.

Trump was addressing growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. While the strait falls under international maritime law, Iran maintains substantial influence over the corridor.

MAGA Influencer Says Trump Seems 'Demonically Possessed' In Brutal Post Slamming Iran War

A 2024 study found a stronger belief in the existence of demons and adherence to a "shadow gospel" was associated with more favorable views of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump. The shadow gospel refers to versions of Christianity and conservatism conjured through anti-liberal messages with little to no basis in actual scripture.

Trump traded on the beliefs of Christian nationalist factions among his MAGA minions by calling the Democratic Party "demonic."
