'One Tree Hill' Star Says Chris Evans Ghosted Her After An 'Embarrassing' Incident Involving Asparagus

Jana Kramer says a date at the 'Captain America' star's home over a decade ago went south after she ate some asparagus and used the bathroom.

At the end of the day, celebrities are just people like the rest of us, right down to being ghosted by the person they're dating for deeply embarrassing reasons.

For actor Jana Kramer, best known for her appearances on the 2000s teen drama One Tree Hill, the experience of being ghosted came while dating Captain America himself Chris Evans.

During a segment on her podcast "Whine Down," Kramer revealed what she thinks may have been behind her ill-fated relationship with Evans back in the day.

It turns out it all comes down to "asparagus pee."

Much like how some people taste soap when they eat cilantro, "asparagus pee" is a genetic trait some people have in which their urine takes on a truly nasty odor when they eat asparagus. Being able to smell the odor is also a genetic trait.

It seems these weird genetic anomalies may have collided during Kramer's relationship with Evans.

Kramer and Evans briefly dated back in the late 2000s, and while Kramer said she doesn't remember exactly how long the relationship lasted, she definitely remembers how it ended, on their last date while hanging out with friends at Evans' house.

As she said on her podcast:

"It was a fun time, but I was getting a little sleepy and so I was like, 'I'm gonna go to bed.' I had asparagus for dinner that night."
"So I went to the bathroom and he immediately went after me…"
"And so that's the last interaction that I remember, is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee...

Kramer then said the shift in Evans' feelings seemed to be immediate.

"I don't remember cuddling that night."

Kramer never heard from Evans again.

"That's always been in the back of my mind whenever I think about or see Chris Evans or Captain America, and I'm like, 'I had stinky pee...'"
"...And to this day, I’m actually kind of mortified."

On social media, Kramer's story definitely raised some eyebrows.

Kramer has since clarified Evans did not "ghost" her because of her pee.

They simply "stopped talking" after the pee incident.

Either way, this incident is probably gonna sting forever.

AOC Has Mic Drop Response To MAGA Republicans Who Try To Mock 'Democratic Priorities'

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez issued a powerful rebuke against President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, pointing out why mocking things like affordable housing and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as "Democrat priorities" ultimately hurts Republicans.

Ocasio-Cortez, speaking during a CNN town hall alongside Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, accused Republicans of refusing to work to end the government shutdown, stressing that the country’s health care system could collapse if Republicans refuse to meet Democrats’ demands in negotiations.

GOP Rep. Blames Coordinated 'Ruse' After Swastika Image Is Seen Displayed In His Office

Ohio Republican Representative Dave Taylor demanded an investigation after a swastika image was found on display in his Washington, D.C., office, and blamed it on a "targeted" "ruse."

Politico obtained a photo from a virtual meeting showing a distorted image of the American flag—its red and white lines altered into the shape of a swastika— pinned to what appears to be a cubicle wall behind Angelo Elia, a staffer for Taylor. Beside it hung a pocket Constitution and a congressional calendar. Elia’s involvement in the incident, if any, remains unclear.
