No One Can Figure Out How This Giant Bronze Hippo Got Stolen

Police from Kent, England are in search of a giant bronze hippopotamus. Yes, that's right.

The animal statue's home is on a lawn at a garden ornament business near Tunbridge Wells.

It weighs nearly three quarters of a ton, or around 1500 pounds.

The Kent Police's rural area Twitter account posted about the missing hippo.

As their post says, the hippo measures in at about two meters long which is the equivalent of around six and a half feet.

The hippo has been missing since Friday.

People can not figure out what could have happened to the bronze hippopotamus.

Other are simply amused by the strange mystery.

It is widely believed that the hippo was stolen to be sold for scraps.
