Geri Halliwell took to Instagram to wish her fellow Spice Girl Mel B a happy birthday last week, but it wasn't without some hiccups.

Currently, the celebratory post is captioned:

Happy birthday @officialmelb ! Hope you have an amazing day! 🎉🥳🎁

@gerihalliwellhorner/Instagram

Super sweet, right?

You may have noticed, however, that the post has been edited.

So what did it say before?

Well, thanks to some trigger-fingered fans, screenshots of the original caption were captured, and it's pretty hilarious, actually.

The birthday message to Mel B originally read:

"Sent images to Pippa and this wording asked her to tweak where needed"
"Happy birthday @officialmelb ! Hope you have an amazing day!"

@gerihalliwellhorner/Instagram

In case you, too, were confused, Pippa is the name of Geri's publicist.

Oops.

While the post truly was delightful, with Halliwell paying homage to the birthday girl by way of images of Spice Girls past...

... fans in the comments couldn't resist getting in jabs about the quickly altered (~ 24 minutes according to some eagle eyes) Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V caption.

A few managed to sneak in non-Pippa-related comments to send Scary Spice some birthday love.

Well, this certainly doesn't do much to quash the rumors about a feud between Mel B and Halliwell. That and Mel B saying Halliwell is "really f**king annoying" less than two years ago...

But we hope she had a wonderful birthday, nonetheless.

Video Of Trump Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Is All Kinds Of Awkward After Media Ban Backfires Spectacularly

President Donald Trump's decision to ban CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House prompted a network boycott in solidarity and a ribbon cutting ceremony on the White House's South Lawn came with completely indecipherable audio because the press pool has decided to stop filming daily events.

Footage from a Monday ribbon cutting ceremony revealed that the sounds of the Marine One chopper just yards away drowned out Trump's remarks. The far-right network Newsmax was on the scene, and even they had to admit that Trump's attack against the free press seemed to be “backfiring just a little bit.”
