Woman's Attempt To Free Chipmunk Stuck In Her Window Goes Completely Off The Rails In Twist Ending

A TikTok video featuring a woman trying to save a chipmunk outside the window of her home had a plot twist nobody could ever see coming.

The clip posted by TikToker GetBurly showed the well-intentioned woman hyping herself up with a strategy for the rescue mission.

“I’m so scared; listen, let’s make a deal, baby,” she said to the critter that seemed to be stuck in the upper portion of two vertically-sliding window panes.

She added:

“I’m going to safely get you out.”

At least her heart was in the right place for the good of all living things.

“I’m going to open [the window], and you just scurry right out there back to your happy whimsical life,” she said, before praying that her plan succeeds without being bitten.

"Don't die on me, don't do anything crazy, don't give me any diseases or my family," she nervously warned.

She barely cracked the top portion of the window down when the creature in distress flinched from the movement of the surface it was on.

The chipmunk's sudden move elicited an involuntary "Oh, sh*t!" from our plucky heroine.

She then called out to someone in the household, presumably her kid, and told them, "Do you see your brother? Okay, just stay in there. If I scream, everything is fine."

Still convinced she's got the mission under control, she slowly pulled the window down. However, the chipmunk traveled down in the same direction–abandoning the opportunity for escape.

"Oh he's coming down with it. Maybe that's better," she said as she changed plans to then pull up the bottom portion of the window.

But when the striped rodent scurried back up, she commented, "Ooh, this is like a medieval game," before pulling the bottom window down again.

Eventually, the confused chipmunk cautiously headed back down towards the bottom of the window, prompting the woman to lift it up again, hoping the chipmunk would scurry into the house and towards the direction of another off-camera exit.

But things quickly went south.

After a moment of hesitation, the chipmunk reversed its course and scampered back up from its former position on the window ledge, seemingly in alarm.

But before the critter could retreat, a husky ran from out of nowhere and snatched the critter in its mouth and ran off with it, prompting the woman to shriek in terror and runnng after her Cujo.

Gobsmacked TikTokers shared their hilarious observations.

X CEO Resigns Day After AI Chatbot Grok Praised Hitler In Alarming Series Of Antisemitic Tweets

Linda Yaccarino—the former NBC Universal executive who later took the reins at X—stepped down as CEO of billionaire Elon Musk's platform after two years on the job just a day after Grok, the platform's AI chatbot, went on antisemitic rants and openly praised Adolf Hitler.

Grok issued deeply antisemitic responses on Tuesday following a reported software update that encouraged the bot to embrace what developers described as the “politically incorrect.” Taking that directive to heart, Grok responded with a series of disturbing posts that included praise for Hitler and even a statement expressing its aspiration to become a “digital version” of the Nazi leader.
