A woman accused of participating in the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol can't seem to stop digging herself deeper into a hole with law enforcement.
Suzanne Kaye, a 58-year-old woman from Florida, first encountered FBI investigators when the bureau received an online tip that Kaye participated in the riot, Huffington Post reported.
In a criminal complaint filed days ago, the FBI cited that the online tipster claimed that Kaye boasted about her involvement in the riot in several posts on Facebook following the historic incident on January 6.
For example, Kaye's name on Facebook was "ANGRY Patriot Hippie."
FBI agents first reached Kaye by telephone on January 28. According to the complaint, that conversation was smooth.
"KAYE asked the agents if they had proof that she traveled to Washington DC. Agent Smith stated that the FBI would like to interview her about her travel. KAYE denied having traveled to Washington DC, but claimed she was aware of individuals who did travel there."
"KAYE agreed to speak with the FBI and provided her current address in Boca Raton, Florida.KAYE further indicated that she was retired and had plenty of time to talk, but would need to be interviewed at her residence because she was not able to drive."
But only three days later, on January 31, Kaye posted videos to Facebook and TikTok in which she aggressively denounced the agents.
She threatened to shoot them, all while drinking whiskey straight from the bottle.
"Just got a call from the FBI and they want to come talk to me about my visit to D.C. on January 6th.
"I told them, bro, I ain't gonna talk to you unless I have counsel, and being that I can't afford counsel, you're gonna have to arrest me so I can exercise my right to see counsel."
After calling Trump a three star Commander in Chief, Kaye then touted her knowledge of the Constitution.
"I'm an American. I know my f'king rights. I know my First Amendment right to free speech, my Second Amendment right to carry a gun to shoot your f'king a** if you come to my house.
"So f'k you, f'k you following me, I don't care. I'm glad you know who I am, motherf'ker."
Although the Facebook post was deleted, Kaye's TikTok post remains up.

Those comments turned out to be spot on. As the criminal complaint went on to reveal, Kaye was charged with interstate communication of a threat to injure a person.
And it's not Kaye's first brush with the law either. The complaint cited Kaye was arrested for domestic battery in 2010, and then in 2020 she was charged with both aggravated assault and criminal possession of a deadly weapon.
Those previous charges were dropped. We'll see if Kaye is so lucky this time around.
