In addition to looking up information, telling you what time it is, and switching on your lights, home-assistant Alexa can also apparently predict if a TikTok video can go viral.

That is exactly what happened after a father decided to enlist Alexa to prank his son, Jesse, for sneaking out of the house.

When TikTok user @RhythmlessMan became wise to his son's stealth plan, he decided that he "kinda [had] to F with them" when Jesse and his friends returned home.

That was fun. Thanks, Alexa, for the assist! #fypage #parenting #teenager #college @shortking.com

A strategically placed Ring doorbell camera caught the errant teens climbing through the window and being surprised seconds later when the living room rights turned on unprompted.

To seal the deal, Alexa spoke without invocation.

"Hi Jesse," said the Amazon voice assistant before warning:

"Next time, just say you want to go out, so you don't need to climb through a window with all your friends."
"I hope you had fun, were safe, and didn't c*** your pants when I started talking."

Alexa then predicted:

"I may go viral on TikTok with this. Thanks for the content."

Her premonition was spot on.

According to Indy 100, the prank video, along with two follow-up videos, racked up 19 million views combined in just six days.

In one of the follow-ups, the dad explained how he set up the prank, which included the use of a decoy camera and LED smart bulbs.

I had a ton of questions asking how I did it. #parenting #teenager #fypage

"[I] opened up Alexa, created what's called a routine which is super easy - it's just a bunch of if/when statements," he explained, while showing a visual aid of the app on his smartphone.

"Basically, it said: if the decoy camera detected any motion, wait 15 seconds – 'cause I wanted the kids to get in the window – then turn both lamps on to high brightness and then speak."

While most users gave props to the dad for the prank, some focused on their displeasure for Jesse's F-bomb-laden response and hand gesture.

But the dad ensured his son's reaction was not a direct dig at him.

Others backed the dad and the banter he has with his son.

Though his immediate reaction to being busted by Alexa was not family-friendly, Jesse appeared to be poking fun at himself with four comedy videos about the prank on his TikTok page.

A 'Fake Egg' Prank Targeting Kids Is Trending On TikTok—But Not Everyone Thinks It's Funny

In a recent TikTok trend, people are presenting young children with "fake eggs" and crushing the egg in their hands to show that the eggs are fake.

In order for this trend to work, the person has to poke a hole into each end of the egg to drain it of its yolk and let the shell dry, so it becomes more brittle and easy to crush, making the prank more believable.

Guy Sparks Debate After Abandoning Girlfriend In Economy While He Booked Himself A First Class Seat On Flight

It's really hard to watch while someone is clearly not being treated well enough by their partner, and instead of accepting the reality check for what it is, they spend their time digging their heels in deeper and defending their partner's honor.

That was certainly true for TikToker Nicole Vawter, or @nicmarievee, anyway, when fellow TikTokers called her partner out on selfishly booking himself a first class seat while his long-time girlfriend sat back in economy.

You know what they say: if a person has to point out how nice they are, they probably aren't really all that nice.

Actions tend to speak louder than words, with an affinity for niceness and kindness being among the best examples. When a person is truly nice and kind, it will come through in their daily attitude and actions without them having to say anything at all.
