Steven Crowder, host of Louder With Crowder, is facing serious backlash after a segment on his recent livestream where his guest host mocked the newly announced gay Captain America, saying the character will contract HIV/AIDS.

Dave Landau, a comedian who studied at Second City and works primarily in Detroit, said this without a second thought on a crowded livestream.

This segment came shortly after Landau made transphobic comments about actor Elliott Page, claiming his "breasts will be auctioned off on eBay".

Landau also said the new teenaged Captain America looked like he "sells ecstasy outside of a rave in the year 2001."

This is not the first time Crowder's brand has made offensive statements against the LGBTQ+ community surrounding HIV/AIDS.

In another video, Crowder claimed the HIV/AIDS epidemic, which is actually one of two currently active pandemics in the world, was all a hoax and never happened.

39 million people have died from HIV/AIDS since the pandemic began in 1981.

Aaron Fisher, the new Captain America, was inspired by "heroes of the queer community: activists, leaders and everyday folks pushing for a better life."

Those folks included members of the ACT UP movement, who pushed for national attention for the very real HIV/AIDS crisis.

June 2, 2021 is when we can expect Aaron Fisher, the new Captain America, to debut, according to writer Joshua Trujillo.

The special will see Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, and Fisher—all iterations of Captain America—teaming up to find the Captain's stolen shield.

Trump's Commencement Speech Claim That The U.S. Is 'Hot' Right Now Turns Into Hilariously Brutal Self-Own

President Donald Trump's attempt to smear the Biden administration turned into a self-own while he spoke at the commencement ceremony for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy this week.

Trump spoke as several hundred protesters gathered outside Coast Guard Academy campus in New London, Connecticut. During the nearly hour-long address to cadets and their families, he alternated between praising the graduating class of 2026 and revisiting familiar themes about what he described as the country’s recovery after a period of decline.

ChatGPT Response Appears To Make It Into School Textbook—And We're Doomed

Students are being actively discouraged from using ChatGPT and other AI-generation tools, as they are expected to learn their educational concepts and be able to put them into practice. They are also not supposed to use these tools while writing papers or during at-home tests.

Given how expensive grade school and college textbooks are, it is reasonable that educational writers and content professionals should be held to the same standards. Wouldn't it make sense for them to use the knowledge of their field, rather than what's been fed into ChatGPT, to make a textbook a worthwhile purchase for students?
