Madison Cawthorn is getting dragged on Twitter, yet again.

Republican North Carolina Congressman Madison Cawthorn made headlines recently after a bizarre and convoluted rant he made to his supporters.

Cawthorn, at only 26 years-old, is currently the youngest U.S. Congressman in office.

A video of Cawthorn began making rounds around the internet, courtesy of Right Wing Watch—an activist group that exposes the antics of right-wing extremists.

The video showed Cawthorn urging the mothers in the crowd to raise their boys "to be monsters."

Watch the video here:

In the video, Cawthorn made the strange claim society was trying to "demasculate" young men because "they don't want people who are going to stand up."

"Our culture today is trying to completely demasculate all the young men."
"All you moms here—the ones who I said are the most vicious in our movement—if you are raising a young man, please raise them to be a monster."

Cawthorn claimed because society wanted to emasculate men, mothers should then raise their boys "to be monsters" in an attempt to fight back against society's supposed war on masculinity.

While Cawthorn's words led to cheers among his audience, many others—ranging from social media users to other politicians—felt the rant was both bizarre and unhinged.

Democratic California Representative Ted Lieu commented on Cawthorn's words, saying:

"America is an exceptional nation precisely because we don't raise monsters."
"Radical Republicans are dangerous."

The Twitter community was appalled at Cawthorn's unhinged rant.

This isn't the first time Cawthorn caused controversy.

Cawthorn is known for his extremist right-wing takes, such as his unwavering support for former U.S. President Donald Trump

Cawthorn stood behind Trump during his run for reelection in 2020 and fed into the ultra-conservative conspiracy theory the election was rigged against Trump.

Cawthorn was quoted as saying there would be "bloodshed" if "our elections continue to be rigged."

In addition, Cawthorn proudly posted pictures of himself at Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's vacation spot, calling it a lifelong goal.

Cawthorn also has been cited repeatedly for his lies about his past and accomplishments as well as his congressional record and the Biden administration.

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
