The singer was performing her Oscar-winning song from Barbie, "What Was I Made For," when a fan threw something right at her face—and she didn't look pleased.

Nine-time Grammy Award-winner Billie Eilish was struck in the face by an object thrown by an audience member at a concert in Arizona.

The incident took place Friday night at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour in support of the singer's third studio album of the same name.

Eilish was sitting cross-legged onstage and singing the Academy Award-winning song “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie soundtrack when she was hit by what appeared to be a piece of jewelry.

In a viral TikTok clip, she can be seen recoiling from getting hit, and she does not look happy about it. Would you?

The crowd gasped and booed the disrespectful act. After a brief pause, Eilish resumed with the song like the boss she is and tossed the item off the stage.

Here's the clip.

Fans hurling objects at their favorite idols during performances has unfortunately become a common occurrence.

Last summer, Harry Styles was hit in the eye by a long-stemmed rose hurled at him during a show in Vienna, Austria, during his Love On Tour concert tour. He immediately stopped singing and cupped his eye.

It was a repeat of a similar incident the previous year when a fan threw Skittles at him, one pegging him in the eye.

Bebe Rexha was hospitalized after an audience member chucked a cellphone at her and hit her in the face at a show in New York, which was cut short due to the incident.

Olivia Rodrigo endured the wrath of a fan who was pissed after the singer didn't accept the bouquet of flowers offered to her. The rejection compelled the fan attending the GUTS World Tour to thwack the floral gift at Rodrigo's head up close.

In June 2023, Pink also had a fan throw something at her from the audience that left her speechless during her show at BST Hyde Park in London.

It was a bag of ashes belonging to a concertgoer's mother.

“I don’t know how I feel about this," said the singer as she carefully placed the bag of cremains on the edge of the stage.

In contrast to the artists mentioned above, rapper Cardi B retaliated by throwing her microphone at an audience member who tossed a drink in her direction.

If this dangerous breach of concert etiquette keeps up, it's only a matter of time before concertgoing experiences are changed forever with stricter security measures like protective barricades or netting placed in front of musical artists.

The trend could forever compromise the integrity and excitement of live performances.

One concerned social media user put it succinctly, writing:

“Stop throwing things at our girlies or they’ll make us go back to concerts on Zoom."

Fans, take your target practice elsewhere.

People Break Down How They've Been Genetically Blessed And Cursed

People who draw attention online, especially if they are particularly beautiful, have gorgeous, healthy hair, or are especially talented, are always met with comments like, "God knew I'd be too powerful if I had that" or "If I could do that, I'd be insufferable."

And it does seem to be laughably true that while some people seem to "have it all," there are others who needed to be humbled a little bit, or else they'd be totally insufferable.
