Rudy Giuliani's Son Proves He's A Chip Off The Old Block During Unhinged CNN Interview

Rudy Giuliani's Son Proves He's A Chip Off The Old Block During Unhinged CNN Interview
CNN

Earlier this week, the apartment and business offices of former New York Mayor and longtime Trump associate Rudy Giuliani were raided by the Department of Justice.

It's unclear as of now what evidence investigators were looking for on Giuliani's electronic devices, but the granting of a search warrant indicates a judge felt there was a high chance inculpatory files would be found in Giuliani's possession.

On Thursday, April 29, Giuliani's son Andrew appeared on CNN to defend his father to host Erin Burnett.

In the clip, Giuliani seemed to take a page out of his father's wild media playbook, answering Burnett's questions with a cocktail of conspiracy theories, baseless claims, and changes of subject.

You can see the interview here:

When asked about the search warrant against his father, Giuliani responded by accusing the judge who signed the warrant of corruption, saying:

"Who appointed the judge? President Barack Obama! You have an Obama-appointed judge who has signed this warrant where no other judge would sign this warrant."

Burnett asked:

"You have proof that no other judge would sign the warrant?"

At which point, Giuliani balked.

"I don't have any proof. But do you have proof that any other judge would sign the warrant?"

When asked whether his father would offer information about former President Donald Trump if it meant avoiding jail time, Andrew Giuliani responded:

"What I would say is, I do wonder if Hunter Biden is going to be charged with the allegations that are out there against him."

Unsurprisingly, the subject of Hunter Biden was never too far from Giuliani's mind.

When it comes to interviews with the press, the Giuliani family brand is strong.

There have been some rumors circulating Andrew Giuliani is considering a run for Governor.

Many posited the younger Giuliani hoped to save his father from prosecution.

Twitter couldn't help but make fun of the bizarre interview.

If Andrew Giuliani is considering following his father into politics, he might want to look outside the family for advice on giving a good interview.

State officials have announced plans to inform visitors that if they’re alarmed by the pause in SNAP benefits beginning November 1 due to the shutdown, they should direct their frustration at the Republican Party.
