Woman Gets An Unpleasant Surprise While Livestreaming Herself Bleaching Her Hair—And Twitter Is LOLing

Sometimes it's best to let the professionals take care of your hair.

I know, it's cheaper if you do it yourself, but there's a lot that can go wrong.

Like all of your hair falling out.

Loraine Blake, an Instagram influencer, liked to share videos and photos of herself trying out new looks on her hair. A quick look through her feed shows it blue, red, yellow and even white.

That said, if you're looking at it right now, you'll see the most recent photos show her head shaved.

There's a reason for that.

Blake's habit of coloring her hair didn't mix well with her plan to relax her hair. She likes to stream when she's doing something new, and this plan to relax her hair for finger waves was no different.

The problem is she had just bleached her hair a few days before. The mixture of powerful chemicals didn't treat her hair well, and during her live stream, clumps of hair started falling out.

It doesn't take long for Blake to realize what was happening, but she's in so much shock, she can only stare at the hair in disbelief. Another attempt to comb her hair takes out more of it. After a few seconds she runs off camera.

Lucky for the internet, Blake's friend Adriana Solis was recording the video.

She shared it to Twitter where it quickly went viral.

The two friends were interviewed by Buzzfeed News, where they gave their thoughts on the situation.

Solis share her solidarity with her friend, explaining,

"I was dying — I felt the struggle because I bleached my hair two years ago and at one point it just started falling out, and I kept combing it like her."

Blake vented all her feelings in that moment; Everything she was experiencing when she saw that clump of hair in her brush.

"I felt so insecure."

The internet can understand that pain and shared their condolences.

It's not all doom and gloom. Blake's mother helped her shave her head and build her confidence. The response of positivity has helped too.

But this is the internet. We all know we're here for the jokes.

And jokes there were.

It can be really easy to see how embarrassing this might be. Being a teenager making a mistake in the age of the internet means your mistakes are forever.

Despite the jokes, Blake's confidence wins out in the end. She shared her new look with all the confidence of a model.

"Everyone on social media has been so nice to me, complimenting me on how it looks good."

And we gotta admit, it looks really good.

Luckily, this story had a happy ending, but still serves as a cautionary tale. Mixing powerful chemicals in your hair isn't a great idea.

Best to leave that to your hair stylist.

Philly Woman Goes Viral With Her Totally Chill Reaction To Her Car Being Completely Frozen In Ice

While the Northeast battled winter weather, the internet was captivated by a Philly-based TikToker documenting how her car turned into what she jokingly described as a Snowmaggedon popsicle.

Last week, Tianna Graham shoveled out her 2016 Honda Civic and drove out after a snowstorm, took it to work, and parked it in the same spot she’d left it before: next to a water main. By the time she returned, her vehicle was completely encased in ice on the 1000 block of North Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.

When a person becomes a parent, much more will change in their life than they anticipated.

But that transition can be especially hard when a person feels like they're losing themselves to their role as a mom or dad—and that feeling is made even worse when their partner hyper-fixates on their new role.
