Trina McGee was a 28-year-old mother of two when she was cast as Shawn Hunter’s teen love interest, Angela Moore, in the hit ABC sitcom Boy Meets World.
McGee was, for the most part, a good 10 years older than her BMW cast mates. In fact, Rider Strong, who played her character's boyfriend Shawn Hunter, was 17 years old when McGee joined the show in 1997.
The then mother of two even welcomed her third child in 1998 during season 5.
In episode 17 of the season (“And Then There Was Shawn"), McGee's baby bump was visible.
The actor took to TikTok in 2022 to point out the moment in the show, writing:
“That time I played a teenager but in reality I was 6 months pregnant."
She captioned the video:
“For those who didn’t know… you gotta let ‘em know.”
And now, 26 years after the birth of her third child, McGee revealed she is pregnant once again "at the tender age of 54."
The actor, who has been married to actor Marcello Thedford since 2008, took to Instagram to share the surprising news.
McGee posted the text:
"At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant."
“Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery."
"Thank you."
The post was accompanied by the song "Baby Love" by The Supremes.
She added in the caption:
"Gonna sign off social media for a bit."
"Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance."
Earlier that day, McGee had shared another post to Instagram in which she wore a halter top that slightly bared her midriff.

Of course, fans were absolutely ecstatic for McGee and congratulated her on her little surprise.
