TikToker Amanda Joy's video of her discovery of a 'Bubble' couch on a NYC street and subsequent cleaning of it before taking it home sparked some major concerns.

One man's trash is another man(da)'s treasure...

But TikToker Amanda Joy's treasure came at the expense of responding to major concerns in the comment section of her video.

According to her video, Joy found an $8k Roche Bobois couch on the streets of NYC and was not going to pass on the opportunity to call it her own.

In her initial TikTok, the creator described how she found the couch on the street and begged her dad to pick it up for her - which he eventually did - and brought to his work office where they could tidy it up.

She then documented the cleaning and drying process and the ultimate move to its resting place in her apartment.

You can watch Joy's excitement below.

And while Joy shared her... joy, viewers shared their concern, specifically about the potential of bed bugs.

In response to all the worry, Joy posted a follow-up video addressing various comments.

In the TikTok, she clarified the couch was on the street for less than 24 hours before being transported by her father, and it sat there for more than two weeks... just to be sure.

Joy also added that the couch had a couple of stains and several small tears that she covered with throw pillows, so she's claiming that as the reason for it being thrown out - and she's sticking to it.

And for the commenters who tried to tell her the couch was a knock-off, she showed the tags to prove them wrong.

You can watch the response video below.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
