Laura Ingraham Tried Mocking Chrissy Teigen's Inclusion on the Time 100 List, and Teigen Just Clapped Back With the List Ingraham Would Be Perfect For

Dammmmn.

Author, Lip Sync Battle co-host and model Chrissy Teigen has a large following on Twitter: 11 million followers. Teigen is also not shy about speaking out on issues that affect women, mothers, immigrants and politics.

Teigen was one of the people blocked by President Donald Trump on Twitter, until a court ruled it was a legal violation. She and her husband, musical artist John  Legend also use their platform to raise awareness and money for causes they believe in.

Because of her willingness to speak out and her philanthropic work, TIME magazine included Teigen on their "TIME 100: Most Influential People of 2019" list.

But that decision earned a rant from ultra-conservative Fox News host Laura Ingraham. For one, Teigen says bad words according to Ingraham.

Never one to back down when attacked, Teigen had a response for Ingraham.

On Twitter, Teigen shared Ingraham's rant and commented:

"Corny monster. There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? Fuck you."

Teigen added, followed by a gif of Ingraham "waving" to the crowd at the 2016 Republican National Convention:

"when time comes out with their 100 most influential white supremacists list, I promise I won’t question your worthiness"

In her rant, Ingraham—who also lamented about Teigen's criticism of President Trump—stated:

"She was chosen, according to the profile, because quote, all her life Chrissy Teigen has liked to eat. She’s not shy about that or anything else really. Well that’s nice, and innovative, I guess ... eating."

TIME recognized Teigen's body positive message and encouraging people not to starve themselves in the pursuit of beauty. Ingraham was either deliberately obtuse or truly could not understand Teigen's message.

The Ingraham Angle host went on to attack Teigen's use of profanity. At a recent event, Teigen encouraged women to stand up for themselves. Ingraham again thought that was the wrong message to send.

Ingraham asked, before playing a clip of Teigen's remarks:

"But did most Americans like her take on female empowerment during last week’s Democratic Retreat?"

Ingraham—who during her time at Dartmouth College as editor of a conservative student newspaper put a tape recorder in a LGBTQ student support group then outed the students on campus and sent the recordings to their parents—acted shocked at Teigen suggesting women should say "fuck you."

Teigen is not the first to accuse Ingraham of spreading White Supremacist rhetoric on her program.

Laura Ingraham's own brother Curtis called his sister a monster. The Fox News host never apologized to the students she outed at Dartmouth in the mid 1980s or showed any remorse for her actions, instead claiming she was protected as a journalist by the First Amendment.

Years later, after her sponsors threatened to drop her for her repeated attacks against the LGBTQ community, Ingraham claimed to have had a change of heart due to her brother Curtis being gay.

Curtis disputed her sincerity.

Gun control advocate and Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg called for a boycott of Ingraham's sponsors more than once over her on air attacks against him and others. Hogg was still a high school student when Ingraham targeted him on her program.

On Twitter, people had questions about Ingraham's audience.

Some took exception with Ingraham's dismissal of Teigen's accomplishments.

Others came up with alternate reasons for Ingraham's rant.

As of this morning, Ingraham has not responded directly to Teigen.

AOC Expertly Mocks Republicans Who Are Crying Foul Over Virginia's Redistricting Vote: 'Wah, Wah, Wah'

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked Republicans who are complaining about their Virginia redistricting loss, explaining to reporters why they're so preoccupied about the possibility of Democrats picking up additional seats in the House of Representatives in this year's midterm elections.

The new lines would shift the state’s congressional balance from a current 6–5 Democratic edge to a projected 10–1 advantage, with only one Republican-leaning district in the conservative southwest.

A 'Fake Egg' Prank Targeting Kids Is Trending On TikTok—But Not Everyone Thinks It's Funny

In a recent TikTok trend, people are presenting young children with "fake eggs" and crushing the egg in their hands to show that the eggs are fake.

In order for this trend to work, the person has to poke a hole into each end of the egg to drain it of its yolk and let the shell dry, so it becomes more brittle and easy to crush, making the prank more believable.

Guy Sparks Debate After Abandoning Girlfriend In Economy While He Booked Himself A First Class Seat On Flight

It's really hard to watch while someone is clearly not being treated well enough by their partner, and instead of accepting the reality check for what it is, they spend their time digging their heels in deeper and defending their partner's honor.

That was certainly true for TikToker Nicole Vawter, or @nicmarievee, anyway, when fellow TikTokers called her partner out on selfishly booking himself a first class seat while his long-time girlfriend sat back in economy.

Guy Sparks Modern Dating Debate With His Unhinged Texts To Woman Who Turned Him Down For Second Date

You know what they say: if a person has to point out how nice they are, they probably aren't really all that nice.

Actions tend to speak louder than words, with an affinity for niceness and kindness being among the best examples. When a person is truly nice and kind, it will come through in their daily attitude and actions without them having to say anything at all.
