TikToker @babybeanmom2 shared her frustrating phone call with a customer service representative for Spectrum after the rep got snarky with her for repeatedly asking to have her service canceled.

We all know that customer service can be incredibly frustrating, to the point that we might not sign up for a service in the first place if we think it would later be too much of a headache to cancel.

TikToker @babybeanmom2 recently went through a phone conversation with Spectrum that will remind us of all the reasons we don't like talking to customer representatives.

The TikToker had already done her research and signed up with another company, so when she called Spectrum there was really no need to have a discussion—she had already made up her mind.

But the female representative refused to take a hint.

During their conversation, the woman suggested that the TikToker was trying to cancel because she couldn't afford to pay her bill.

As she became increasingly frustrated, the representative told her to "regulate her nervous system" and even to "take a deep breath" as she continued to refuse to cancel her service.

The TikToker decided to be rude, thinking that might be the only way the representative would listen, and the representative instead instructed her to "treat her like someone [she] loved and cared about" instead of having a tone.

Some sided with the TikToker, calling the customer representative "unprofessional and unacceptable."

In a follow-up video, the TikTok explained that while the customer representative had been inappropriate with her, it was actually the representative who hung up on the TikToker and not the other way around, which forced her to call back and start the process over again.

The second time she called, she spoke to a male representative, who was "just as bad" and "condescending," but he was eventually willing to listen to her, cancel her subscription, and close her account.

In a third and final video, the TikToker emphasized how "unhinged" the experience was.

From insinuating that she was canceling because she couldn't afford the bill, to coaching her on her breathing and relaxation methods, to even demanding that she treat the representative like "someone she loved," there was no shortage of weird examples from the TikToker's pair of phone calls.

Though it was unfortunate that the TikToker had gone through this, she has since learned that if someone wants to cancel with Spectrum, the best option is to call their billing department directly and ask them to close the account, rather than going through a representative, because they don't have to follow the same rules to retain customers.

The TikToker could have used this tip sooner, but if she ever needs to cancel anything else, this might be the way to go.

Dr. Oz Slammed After His 'Credit Card' Health Care Analogy Goes Completely Off The Rails

Snake oil salesman Dr. Mehmet Oz—now the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—was criticized after he tried to discuss U.S. health insurance providers' pledge to speed up the prior authorization process by oddly comparing it to a "credit card," underscoring just how much he doesn't understand the job he currently holds.

Earlier this week, major U.S. health insurers—including Cigna, Aetna, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare—announced a set of reforms aimed at simplifying the often frustrating prior authorization process for patients and providers.

Jasmine Crockett Calls Out Trump's Hypocrisy By Pointing Out How Melania Got Her Visa

Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett pointed out President Donald Trump's hypocrisy on immigration considering how First Lady Melania Trump's pathway to citizenship was possible because she received an "Einstein visa," which is usually reserved for an individual with "some sort of significant achievement."

Speaking during a House Judiciary Committee hearing titled “Restoring Integrity and Security to the Visa Process,” Crockett noted that “the idea that Trump and my Republican colleagues want to restore integrity and security in the visa process is actually a joke," and harshly criticized the Trump administration's immigration crackdown and visa restrictions.

Fox Host Comes To Reporter's Defense After Pete Hegseth Berates Her At Pentagon Briefing

Fox News' chief political analyst Brit Hume came to the defense of Fox national security reporter Jennifer Griffin after their former colleague, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, criticized Griffin as the reporter "who misrepresents the most intentionally what the president says” in a Pentagon news conference.

Hegseth, a former Fox News anchor, had criticized media outlets—including his former network—for what he described as unpatriotic reporting. Hegseth took particular aim at early intelligence assessments suggesting that President Donald Trump's bombing of Iran may not have significantly crippled Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
