Amanda Seyfried's Unbothered Reaction To Losing At Golden Globes Is Seriously Iconic

Amanda Seyfried turned heads with her unusual reaction to losing to Michelle Williams at the Golden Globes on Sunday—and fans are kind of obsessed.

Now that the Golden Globes have passed, it's time for that most cherished awards-season tradition: deconstructing stars' reactions to losing!

And this year, the award for Best Reaction to Losing inarguably goes to Amanda Seyfriend, who's gone viral for her hilarious response.

Fans have become obsessed with her reaction to losing the Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series to her colleague Michelle Williams.

Not only was it unbothered, but it sort of obliquely referenced the classic film that for many of us was our introduction to Seyfried, Mean Girls.

Williams had been favored to win the category from the jump for her heartfelt and often harrowing performance in Dying for Sex, the true story of Molly Kochan's quest to finally embrace her sexuality before dying of terminal cancer.

So fittingly, Seyfried was caught already preparing to clap for the winner before she was even announced, with her hands poised in midair.

Not, you know, sitting patiently in case she had to get up and have her big moment. She's just sitting there like "obviously I'm not winning LOL," staring at the table and pre-clapping, barely paying attention. Classically unbothered!

But the best part came when Seyfried realized that Williams wasn't even in attendance at the ceremony.

She burst out with, "Oh she's not here!," and you kind of can't help but be reminded of the classic Mean Girls moment when Damien yells, "she doesn't even go here!"

There was obviously no ill will in Seyfried's reaction, however. Her category was a real blockbuster of talent: She was up against not just Williams, but Claire Danes in The Beast in Me, Rashida Jones in Black Mirror, Sarah Snook All Her Fault, and Robin Wright in The Girlfriend.

Some years it's just an honor to be nominated, and this seemed to be one of those for Seyfried. Not a hater, just an unbothered queen not particularly impressed by all the pomp and circumstance, like a regular person!

And that feels particularly refreshing in these difficult times, which might be part of why her reaction resonates, especially coming on the heels of Seyfried's recent comments on politics.

Seyfried has vocally criticized ICE, called for more socialist policies in the U.S. and refused to apologize for calling Charlie Kirk "hateful," making her seem far more in line with most average Americans than those in Hollywood, most of whom have been notably silent about current events since Trump took office despite constantly bloviating about politics for decades prior.

Whatever the reason, people are crowning Seyfried as the new unbothered queen of Hollywood for her reaction to Williams' win.

May we all learn to be as unbothered as Amanda Seyfried.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.

MAGA Senator Gets Epic Reminder After He Shares Photo Of Himself On Vacation At Disney

Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott was called out for his hypocrisy after he proudly showed off a photo of himself at a Disney park amid TMZ's efforts to put members of Congress on blast for taking vacations during the partial government shutdown.

The shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now the longest in history at more than 50 days and stretches on without an agreement between the House and the Senate now that lawmakers have left Washington for Easter break; neither chamber is set to return to Washington until the week of April 13.
