Seth Rogen's Mom Just Made Perhaps The Most Mom Statement Ever About His Upcoming Book

Seth Rogen's Mom Just Made Perhaps The Most Mom Statement Ever About His Upcoming Book

He's acted, he's produced, he's done movies and TV, and he's even become a rather talented potter of late. And now, Seth Rogen can add "author" to his resume with the upcoming release of his first book, titled Yearbook.

And no one is more excited about it than Seth's mom, Sandy.

Included in the press release for the book is a statement from Sandy Rogen about her son's forthcoming tome that is the most mom-ish thing ever.

Sandy opens with a sweet little intro to the book that seems like it could be a snippet from a conversation with anyone's dear old mom.

"At first I was worried that Seth was writing a book, because I was like, 'Oh no! What's he gonna say?!' I was actually scared to even read it. But I'm very happy I did."
"It's not really a memoir, like I thought it might be. I guess it's more of a bunch of funny stories? Does that make sense?"
"He talks about doing stand-up when he was a kid (I drove him to all his shows!), his grandparents, high school, moving to L.A., meeting some famous people, things like that."

Aww, sounds lovely!

But then things take a turn as Sandy, like all moms, has a few notes for her son.

"If I'm being honest, I really wish there wasn't so much drug talk. Why does he need all that? It's like 'We get it!'"

Uh oh. Busted!

And the drug stuff wasn't the only thing that raised Sandy's eyebrows.

"And some of the stories? I mean, they're entertaining, but I was just shocked they happened and he never told me!"

In the end, though, she loved the book.

But not as much as she perhaps would if it weren't for one little bugaboo.

"Overall, I think it's more sweet and funny than anything, so I like it, and I'm glad he wrote it, but I'd be even more glad if he called me more."

Well there you have it.

Even A-listers' moms are sensitive about phone calls. Stars, they're just like us!

On Twitter, people were in love with Sandy's straight-talking review.

If Sandy Rogen loves the book—despite her son's drug habits and lack of phone calls—it's gotta be good.

Vance Just Called The LA Protesters 'Insurrectionists'—And Was Swiftly Called Out For His Hypocrisy

After President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles amid protests against immigration raids, Vice President JD Vance was called out for hypocrisy after calling protesters "insurrectionists."

California National Guard troops arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, just hours after Trump signed an order deploying 2,000 service members in response to escalating immigration protests in the city. The order came after multiple confrontations between demonstrators and federal agents carrying out immigration enforcement operations—clashes that have resulted in over 100 arrests.

Florida Meteorologist Warns How DOGE Cuts Will Affect His Ability To Predict Hurricanes In On-Air Rant

John Morales, a WTVJ meteorologist, went viral for warning viewers about how cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Weather Service (NWS) will compromise his ability to accurately predict and track Florida hurricanes—to say nothing of forecasts nationwide.

Morales said the overall quality of weather forecasts across the country is already “becoming degraded” due to recent budget cuts by billionaire Elon Musk's advisory Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and cautioned that hurricane forecasting will likely be the next casualty.
