Republican Candidate Films Transgender Woman In Denny's Restroom Ironically Claiming Invasion Of Privacy

Republican Candidate Films Transgender Woman In Denny's Restroom Ironically Claiming Invasion Of Privacy

Patrons at a Denny's in Los Angeles got a front row seat of a Republican candidate making a spectacle of herself over a transgender woman using the women's toilet.

"I'm trying to use the ladies' room and there is a man here claiming that he is a lady," huffed Jazmina Saavedra, who is currently running for a seat in California's 44th District.

The GOP hopeful live-streamed her confrontation with the patron from outside the bathroom stall and lashed out, "Why do you use the ladies' room?" as a restaurant employee knocked on the stall door.

"You're invading my privacy," responded the transgender woman.

But that's not how Saavreda viewed the situation.

You're invading my privacy because I'm a woman and I deserve to use the woman, the ladies' room. You violated my right. You are sick and stupid.

Saavreda left the bathroom and waited for the patron to come out to resume her confrontation. She commented, "So, that guy is violating my right to use the ladies' room here, and he's saying he's a lady! Stupid guy."

When the individual exited the restroom, she recognized the Republican candidate.

Excuse me, I was using the toilet. ... Why are you singling me out, lady? And I see you yesterday following me.

Saavreda continued with her tirade as the transgender woman was being escorted out of the restaurant and instructed her to use the men's room next time, or "nobody's room, or the transgender room."

Still offended over being violated, the GOP candidate continued her rant to the camera instead of using the now vacated ladies' facilities.

I was with my pepper spray ready and I called the manager so he helped me. How can I be with a man inside of the ladies' room just because he thinks he's a lady? This is unbelievable. Only in California this happens.

According to her campaign website, Saavreda is pro-life and supports the Second Amendment. She aims to preserve the "morals and faith" of "conservative families."

She then felt compelled to offer a public service announcement as the button for her live-stream.

Every lady needs to have a stun gun and a pepper spray. Be prepared because you never know what crazy people you can find in public restaurants.

Democrat Representative Nanette Diaz Barragan, whom Saavedra is trying to unseat, was disgusted at her opponent's stunt. The incumbent issued this statement:

I was appalled by the treatment that this woman received for simply trying to use the restroom. Everyone has the right to their own identity, and the right not to be discriminated against for who they are.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Trolls Trump For Struggling To Stay Awake During Antifa Roundtable

California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked President Donald Trump for appearing to fall asleep during a White House roundtable about Antifa, which the administration recently designated a "domestic terror organization" even though it's not an organization at all.

Antifa is a loose network of anti-fascist activists with no central structure, no funding, no membership roster, and no offices or leadership hierarchy for prosecutors to target.

Remote Worker Speaks Out After Job Uses 'Dystopian' Software To Track His Productivity

There are a few vital truths to every office-based job. First, there are going to be "busy work" moments, from meetings to admin tasks to minor side-quest-style projects that add to the company in some small way but otherwise feel like a waste of time.

Second, as human beings, we all need breaks to restore our mental focus, so a person who occasionally scrolls through their personal email, sends a few texts to a friend, or even scrolls Instagram for a few minutes, will likely be more productive than those who attempt to lock in and do nothing but their job throughout their entire shift.
