People Share The Wildest Thing They Have Ever Done In A Lucid Dream

Dreams are the place where we're truly allowed to be free, to let ourselves experience what our conscious mind restricts. Sometimes, we enter into that state of "lucid dreaming," where you're aware of the dreamstate playground you're on, thus allowing you to control it freely. Suddenly, nothing is off-limits, and what people turn out when they know they can't be punished is very revealing.

Reddit user, u/RennerOe, wanted to go deep inside your dreams when they asked:

Lucid dreamers of Reddit, what was the most f-cked up thing you've done in a lucid dream?

Hit That Restart Button!

Ended up driving a car off a cliff. As I was falling, I thought, "well sh-t" and rewound the dream to before I got in the car. Tried to make a few different choices, but ended up driving off the cliff again.

Guess it was fate.

Another Chance For A Best Friend

Giphy

I often have these dreams where my dog Snoopy is there. However, he passed away 4 years and in my dream I will recognize this and say to myself, "Wait, Snoopy died, how is this possible?"

Then somehow, I can't really explain it that well, but me wanting so bad for him to be alive again overwhelms the logical part of my mind and I rationalize that he actually didn't die and it was a miracle. I then have a great time and am able to enjoy playing with my best friend again and having him come along on my adventures.

The f-cked up part about this is how much it f-cks with me when I wake up and have to come to the sad realization that he is gone again. Like I enjoy being able to see him again in dreams, but it can be really emotionally overwhelming too.

The "Snappening"

When someone in the dream tried to convince me I wasn't actually dreaming, I said "oh yeah watch this"and snapped my fingers. Everything went black and I recreated reality itself. I don't know what happened next but whatever happened was wild enough for me to awake with my heart pounding.

They Call This "Rubixing"

Every single dream I have is a lucid dream, I've made some sh-t happen to make my dreams less scary/more interesting.

The most f-cked up thing I've done was folded the guy who was chasing me I to a human cube so he couldn't move and just left him in the street, in cube form.

Same Scenarios. Same Mistakes.

I have reoccurring dreams. So, I often dream the same scenarios. There are dreams about not being able to find a bathroom, about a bridge falling apart, and about falling into water with big fish. Often times the dream starts out and I realize it is whichever reoccurring dream and I can feel my dream self be like... crap. This again.

One time I was dreaming and we were all at this giant aquarium and somehow got special access to walk at the top of all these giant aquariums. I was initially excited "special access!" And then as I'm walking around these giant "pools" of water in my dream I was like... oh man... let me guess, this is the shark or whale tank and I'm going to trip and fall right in, aren't I?

So I refused to move causing everyone in my dream to get mad because I wasn't doing the right thing. And in my dream I was really glum and said something like "let's get this over then" and just fell right into the water. I didn't splash or try to swim and on cue the stupid giant fish of whatever kind came up and started bumping me and because it was a dream I could just bob there glaring at dreamland getting bumped by big things underwater and contemplating why this was such an big fear of mine.

Then I woke up.

I wrestled a tornado. And won.

How? Why?

RennerOe

It was trying to steal our eggs. So I grabbed it by the tail and slammed it to the ground.

Mistah J. Thinks That's Hilarious

Had a lucid dream where I was being dragged on the floor by two goons. The joker from dark knight shows up and stabs me. I've never been stabbed before but I felt it. The knife went through my chest and then I woke up.

A Missed Opportunity

I dont know if its f-cked up but if I start lucid dreaming I always try making it sexy. I always wake up though before it gets sexy and its sad.

iimuffinsaur

I used to do this when I was younger. "Oh yeah this is a dream!". But as soon as a good scenario is set up, it ended.

DoodieDialogueDeputy

Then you try SO hard to fall back asleep to continue that dream... and it never works :(

Did You Remember To Jiggle The Handle?

Flushed myself down a toilet. Popped up in the ocean.

joebaby1975

That's hilarious it made me giggle, but did get flushed down realistically in a terrifying way or you didnt feel you body compress and it was like a roller coaster?

Adjente_46

It was like, I knew it was a portal. I had to trust that I would fit. So I actually had to jump in and dive, but I had to hold my breath and tense up like right before you cough. So I did. And it felt like I was compressed and I did go fast like I roller coaster. The only really scary part was there were two toilets and I had to make sure I made the right choice, one lead to the ocean and was not a sewage pipe, the other was. I was chasing my brother who was a seabird. So. I did make it to the ocean. That roller coaster analogy was spot on. I had this dream years ago before finding Nemo came out. So That wasn't in my subconscious. Crazy.

98-Year-Old WWII Vet Uses Tank To 'Crush Fascism' By Literally Crushing A Tesla In Viral Video

98-year-old British World War II veteran Ken Turner has gone viral after using a Sherman tank to crush a Tesla vehicle in an act of protest against Elon Musk and the rise of fascism around the globe.

Turner, a former Royal Engineer, crushed a Tesla electric vehicle bearing the license plate “FASCISM” in a bold protest organized by the activist group Led by Donkeys. The car, donated by a Tesla owner who said they were “appalled” by Musk’s embrace of far-right politics in Europe, was used in the dramatic stunt to symbolize resistance to rising authoritarianism.
