The Kennel Club in Birmingham, England held their annual dog show, Crufts, last week and didn't disappoint.

Well, dogs never really disappoint, do they?

However, one furry entrant didn't exactly knock it out of the park.

Meet Kratu.

The Carpathian-Mioritic mix entered the Rescue Dog agility course grounds at Crufts for his second time this year and gave a terrible performance. Okay, so Kratu is not fast nor agile out on the course, but he sure knows how to have a good time.

And that's what it's all about.

Spectators fell in love with the Romanian rescue who just couldn't be bothered with navigating his way through a series of hurdles and tubes.

To him, the arena was just one giant playground with a crowd that showered him with affection no matter how well he performed.

You can watch Kratu's not-so-agile course run in the YouTube clip below.

Prepare to fall in love.

This is Kratu's second year representing Woodgreen in the dog show after his lackadaisical run went viral and captured hearts last year.

Handler Tessa Eagle Swan personally rescued Kratu in Romania "from a very dangerous situation" when he was just a few weeks old.

And while she adores her four-legged friend to bits, she told Crufts about her frustrating experience in training him.

"As a teenager he was incredibly hard to train! He was so stubborn and determined to do what he wanted. He makes me laugh with his antics. He loves to perform tricks and does them all the time."
"He is a natural clown which makes it interesting and fun. If he doesn't like something he won't do it. He really loves to please me but mostly himself!"
"He is such a big character who will try to do what he wants rather than what I am asking. He is challenging and quite determined."

But Kratu makes up for his shortcomings.

Swan mentioned other areas in which Kratu excelled.

"I am constantly amazed at all he has achieved. He has made me up my game considerably. He became the first dog in the UK to pass his 'Do as I Do' exam a special training method where he copies me on cue. He has his Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Dog Scheme award."
"He has done some rally training and special obedience training needed to become an assistance dog. He has also done lots of trick training which is his favourite. He is a work in progress with tricks as sometimes he does brilliant ones and sometimes just messes around."

Kratu's charisma is infectious.

And like Swan said, he is a clown and we're all grateful for him.

Last year, Kratu's debut was an unforgettable one.

The announcer can be heard chuckling intermittently as he comments on the crowd-pleasing dog who's there to have a good time.

The host quipped:
"He hasn't a clue of what he's doing, has he?"

Kratu did not win any prizes for his performance that day.

But, doggone it, his entertaining performance was still off the charts.
