Tim Walz's Daughter Claps Back At MAGA Troll Who Told Her To 'Get Over' Dad's Election Loss

Hope Walz shared a fiery message on TikTok after a conservative troll commented on one of her videos, "Your dad lost. Get over it."

Hope Walz, the daughter of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, fired back at a troll who told her to "Get over it," referring to her father's 2024 Democratic election loss.

Hope, who was born in 2001, was thrust on the national stage practically overnight when her father was selected by then-presidential nominee, now-former Democratic VP Kamala Harris to take on her Republican challenger, President Donald Trump.

Since then, her social media accounts have been flooded with hate messages and abuse, but she's not letting any of the toxicity get to her and she's not afraid to clap back at critics.

Recently, a MAGA troll commented on one of her previous videos, "Your dad lost. Get over it."

She pretty much said, "Hold my beer," and began her passionate rant with:

"These comments always make me laugh. Y'all just don't get it."

While coming from a place of self-awareness about her privileged background, Hope conveyed what many of us are thinking after Republican President Donald Trump and his White House cronies have taken the proverbial wrecking ball to our democracy to advance their selfish agendas.

Hope continued addressing the MAGA contingent with:

"You are supposed to do this work because you believe that you can do good for the country, not because you want to have power over people."
"Okay, he lost. We didn't try and storm the capitol to try and overturn the result like y'all did."

Hope concluded her video with:

"I have empathy for other people. I'm fine. But your lack of empathy ... shows how terrible and ignorant you are."
"Everyone is going to suffer because of decisions you made. Get real, people."

The internet applauded her for her clapback.

Since Trump's inauguration, the first federally convicted felon to become President has signed off on a slew of executive orders that will not only disadvantage many under-represented and marginalized Americans but will also hurt lower-to-middle income households.

Many of those working class people are MAGA—and their long-held federal jobs are now at risk due to Elon Musk's DOGE agenda stripping away the workforce for better "efficiency."

The City Of Minneapolis Just Got Nominated For A Nobel Peace Prize—And Everyone's Thinking The Same Thing

President Donald Trump isn't going to be happy to know that the editors of The Nation have nominated the city of Minneapolis and its residents for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, citing the city's response to Trump's immigration crackdown that has captured the nation's attention since the murders of RenƩe Nicole Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE agents.

In a statement addressed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, the editors noted that "while individuals and organizations have been granted this prize since its inception in 1901, no municipality has ever been recognized."
