Harry Styles Rescued From Kiwis & Fans by UK Supermarket

Ever since Harry Styles announced at a New York City show last month that he hopes "Kiwi" to be his next single, overly excited fans have been pelting him with the fruit at the singer's performances in hopes he'll play the song. Now a supermarket has has taken action to protect him from the mindless teen masses, and from further harm.

You read that right. These fans for some reason are assaulting Styles with kiwis, as if they believe it will encourage him to give them what they want. Talk about counter-productive.

Things escalated when the singer slipped on a kiwi that had been thrown on stage, at a show in London earlier this week.

Harry addressed the crowd with a plea to stop pelting him with fruits:

"As some of you may have seen, I may have slipped a little bit ago," Harry said. "And it appears there was an actual kiwi thrown on stage. There was a green seedy mush on the floor. Oh, there's another one! This could end up being a problem. If anyone else brought a fruit to the show...did anyone else bring a fruit? Shame on you!"

Recognizing that these fans won't likely regain their senses long enough to stop themselves from endangering the life of the performer they so much adore, and desire, an ASDA supermarket in Manchester is imposing a kiwi ban.

Anyone under the age of 25 is forbidden from purchasing the fruit ahead of the singer's concert at the O2 Apollo.

A spokesperson for the store said: “We know our customers love Harry Styles and we feel it’s our duty to protect a fellow Mancunian from any ‘bad kiwis’ amongst us. We’d hate to see a repeat of the mishap this evening, so to avoid any slippery situations, we feel this is a necessary measure.”

Twitter has responded accordingly to the fruity drama.

"Imagine walking into asda and being refused a kiwi because ur under 25 AHAHA"

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
