It has been one year since the tragic death of Glee's Naya Rivera, who played Santana, one of the breakout queer characters, on the popular series.

Rivera drowned in a reservoir just outside of Los Angeles after spending a day boating with her son.

She was a young 33-year-old mother.

Heather Morris, who played Santana's love interest and future wife, Brittany, on Glee grieved deeply for Naya since the day she left us. Morris recently chose to honor Rivera with a tattoo in memory of the late actress.

Using the language from one of Rivera's last tweets:

"No matter the year, circumstance, or strifes everyday you're alive is a blessing. make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised."

Morris got "tomorrow is not promised" tattooed on her arm.

"It hasn't gotten easier to write a caption," Morris wrote.

"You are the brightest star in my eyes Naya Rivera. I'm so grateful GOD LAYED [sic] A HAND and brought us together as best friends, mom friends, scene partners, and everything in between."

Rivera's other castmates, including Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer, also paid her tribute on their respective social media.

Naya may be gone, but she is never forgotten.

Model Accuses Fashion Brand Of Using AI To Recreate Her Looks For Ad Instead Of Hiring Her

There used to be laws in place for someone's likeness being used without their consent, and most certainly if their likeness was being used in an exploitative way for profit.
