Bob Woodward of the Washington Post is coming out with a book, Fear, that centers around Trump's presidency. But some people have decided to release fake excerpts of the book, and people are buying it.

The actual book is based on Woodward's hundreds of hours of interviews from deeply connected sources, many of whom remain anonymous.

Woodward's book examines the inner workings of the White House, discussing Trump's breakdowns and the many plans put into place to prevent disasters and control Trump's impulses. It also discusses the president's lack of understanding of major issues.

Snippets of the book have revealed quotes where Trump is described as having the understanding of a "fifth- or sixth-grader". He is also described as, "unhinged" and "an idiot" by people who work closely with the president.

The allegations made about Trump in Fear sound so insane that some people have decided to write their own excerpts of the book and try to pass them off as real.

Hilariously, and disturbingly, people actually believe these excerpts are real.

Although some can tell something is up.

You can buy your own *real* copy of Fear on Amazon.

Trump made headlines this week after admonishing Israel and Iran for violating a ceasefire agreement he'd announced on Truth Social. Although he claimed the ceasefire had been "agreed upon," Iran fired at least six missile barrages at Israel after it was supposed to take effect.

State Department Slammed After Requiring Visa Applicants To Make All Social Media Posts Public For Vetting

The State Department is facing harsh criticism after it announced that anyone applying for an F, M, or J nonimmigrant visa will need to disclose all social media profiles from the last five years, requiring that all applicants set their posts to public so they can be properly vetted by its agents.

The agency said the new rules are part of a new screening process aimed at identifying individuals who may pose a threat to U.S. national security. According to the department, failure to comply could result in a denial, and consular officers have been instructed to flag signs of “hostility” toward the U.S.—though the criteria for such determinations remain vague.
