Ex-Mormon TikToker Describes 'Soaking' Method Used To Get Around Religion's 'No Sex Before Marriage' Rule

Ex-Mormon TikToker Describes 'Soaking' Method Used To Get Around Religion's 'No Sex Before Marriage' Rule

While many religions forbid sex before marriage, young Mormons have found a loophole to derive sexual pleasure while maintaining their virginity.

These young couples not wanting to get married and are unable to repress their sexual desires engage in what is called, "soaking."

And this is not it.

Soaking is a premarital form of sexual pleasure where the penis is inserted into the vagina and remains stationary.

TikToker Exmo Lex, a.k.a. @exmolex, is an ex-Mormon who said couples who don't necessarily want to get married and are unable to repress their sexual desire engage in "soaking."

Her video received almost 800,000 likes.

In response to a viewer who inquired about "soaking," Lex said young college-aged Mormons are very sexually repressed.

That pent-up energy was due to the fact they are not allowed to touch themselves or engage in anything remotely sexual—even the act of hugging or kissing anybody for an extended period of time.

"But it gets to a point where they just can't help themselves," she said.

"So 'soaking' is a thing that happens. That is basically where the boy puts his penis inside the girl and they just hold still."

There can't be any thrusting because "that would be sex," she laughed, unable to compose herself.

"But if you put it in and just sit there and don't move it doesn't count."

She assured viewers that while it sounds like she was making it up, "I promise you that is a thing that happens in Provo, Utah every day."

TikTokers reveled in the prime opportunity to insert jokes.

TikToker Kathy, a.k.a @funeralpotatoslut, demonstrated another loophole around the no-sex before marriage rule, and it showed what appeared to be a couple under the covers—presumably in mid-soak mode—while she jumped on the bed to help simulate movement.

The video's floating caption read:

"When your bestie is called to soak in a BYU dorm and you have to jump hump for her."

Guy Admits His Ignorance After Girlfriend Educates Him On What Really Happens During Menstruation—And He's Horrified

Women's health should be much more common knowledge than it is, but many subjects related to women—especially menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth—are still considered pretty "taboo" subjects in public spaces, in shared educational spaces, and, of course, among men.

That's why there are so many men like TikToker @connortalkslol who only start finding out what menstruation really is and what the cycle entails when they go looking for the information themselves.
