The former CNN host offered a blistering response on Instagram after Ye accused him of starting the rumor that he and wife Bianca Censori were kicked out of the Grammy Awards.

Former CNN host Don Lemon scorched Ye with an Instagram video after the rapper accused Lemon of circulating rumors that he and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

The controversial rapper, who was nominated for a "Best Rap Song" Grammy for his collaboration on the 2024 tune, “Carnival," showed up on the red carpet where Censori caused a stir by essentially posing nude for photographers.

When he and Censori were not seen inside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for the awards ceremony, rumors swirled that they weren't invited and were subsequently kicked out after crashing the red carpet.

However, according to Variety, a Grammy spokesperson claimed the rumors were “not true” and that the rapper simply “walked the carpet, got in his car and left.”

Lemon, who attended the event and interviewed Ye on the red carpet, posted a video later that night and reported:

“I’m hearing that Kanye wanted to do the red carpet, that he wasn’t invited — that’s what I’m hearing from the folks here at the Grammys. And then he left, maybe he was escorted out."

He added:

“That’s what folks are saying, but I’m not sure. I think maybe he just wanted to do the carpet, but he definitely is gone."
"I may be the only person who interviewed him, by the way.”

Ye called out Lemon on social media with a photo of the journalist and accused him of spreading the false rumor.

Wrote Ye:

"This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out of the Grammys. 3 decades of innovating music and they always [slur] like this."

This prompted Lemon to set things straight by addressing Ye with his former moniker in a video post.

“First of all, Kanye, Ye—whatever your name is—I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys," stressed the journalist.

He continued:

“I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.”
"So first of all, get your sh*t straight."

He then threw his head back and laughed at the ludicrousness of the rapper hurling the slur at him and expressed concern about the rapper's sanity tied to his pro-Donald Trump antics.

Lemon added:

“And you, of all people, calling me a [slur]."
"That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”

People loved Lemon for the way he calmly destroyed his accuser.

The Huffington Post noted that a deleted post from Entertainment Weekly reported that Ye and his entourage were escorted from the Grammys because they showed up uninvited.

The outlet walked back its claim and clarified in another post that Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. informed ET that "that is not what happened."

Because Ye was up for a nomination for his collaboration on "Carnival," Mason Jr. said Ye was "welcome to attend the ceremony."

However, Ye allegedly opted to only walk the red carpet with Censori and leave the premises.

Vance Tried To Make A Joke About Seeing 'Les Misérables' At The Kennedy Center—And It's Peak Cringe

Vice President JD Vance had people groaning after he made a bad joke about the production of Les Misérables he and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, attended at the Kennedy Center with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The musical, set in 19th century France, tells the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict who is released from prison for stealing a loaf of bread. The story touches on timeless themes such as justice and mercy—and also happens to be about people resisting an authoritarian takeover, which many find ironic given the Trump administration's response to protests in Los Angeles.

People Who Smashed Wedding Cake In Their Spouse's Face Reveal How Their Relationship Is Going Now

According to The Knot wedding resource magazine and website, smashing cake into the face of a spouse after tying the knot is a tradition tied to medieval England. To celebrate the marriage, the bride would toss a piece of piece of cake over her shoulder for good luck.

This evolved into newlyweds feeding a piece of cake to one another, then taking frosting or a small bit of cake and rubbing it gently onto each other's faces—usually the cheek or tip of the nose.
