The famous DJ opened up to Emily Ratajkowski about defining his sexuality after she said he admitted to being 'a little gay.'

Diplo's sexual orientation was the topic of discussion in a recent interview that left viewers even more confused.

Based on what he shared, it was clear the music producer was not coming out anytime soon.

“I’m sure I’ve gotten a blow job from a guy before," he told interviewer Emily Ratajkowski on her podcast High Low.

Hoping for a more declarative statement to follow about his sexual identity, she asked him:

"You're sure that happened? And you just don't remember it?"

"Yeah," said Diplo.

Ratajkowski wasted no time trying to get the professional DJ to spill the tea about his sexuality.

“We should talk about what you said to me last night, which is that you’re a little gay," she suggested after he opened up to her in a previous discussion.

Diplo responded:

“You want to cut right into that?”

She assured him he was in a safe space by expressing her excitement about the topic.

"You should be happy," she said, adding:

"I could just be talking to you only about your relationships to women. I like that you’re a little flexible.”

Ratajkowski pressed for more details about his oral sex experience in the past.

"You're not committing to it, but you're saying you're sure it happened?"

Diplo responded affirmatively, saying with a smirk, "for sure."

He continued to express his sexual ambivalence, saying:

"I'm not sure if it's gay unless you make eye contact while there's a blowjob happening."

When asked for more details about the specific moment from his past, the 44-year-old musician offered:

“I’ve gotten a lot of blow jobs, but I don’t know. I mean, getting a blow job is not that gay, I think.”

Ratajkowski replied:

“I don’t know. You tell me?”

Twitter found the interview going nowhere frustrating.

The energy from the interview felt familiar.

People continued sharing their thoughts through hilarious memes.

Diplo–who has worked with music industry heavy hitters like Gwen Stefani, Die Antwoord, Britney Spears, Madonna, Shakira, Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Snoop Dogg, and Trippie Redd–said he does not want to define his sexuality.

"I think the best answer I have is I’m not not gay. There are a couple guys … I could date, life partner-wise.”

He also classified himself as more of a "vibe guy" than a specific gender.

“The temperature of our culture has changed with men being more fluid."
“[When I was young], you had gay kids at school and gay cousins or whatever, but it was different than it is now."
"I thought it was, like, weird to be gay.”

So, basically this.

Not all of his fans were judgy.

Diplo alluded to his sexuality before at a time when he thought his life was on the line.

On August 3, 2019, he wrote an Instagram post while his jet plane was making an emergency landing.

"Dear Colombus and Minneapolis, my jet window just cracked open and the pilots are wearing masks so not sure ill make my shows tonight but they left the wifi on so I'm just going to sit in the back and smoke toad venom and Vlog."
"I just bought this cool vest in Dallas at a thrift store ..... Also i never told you this but I might [be] gay... "

He eventually landed back on terra firma and confirmed "no one died."

He also maintained:

"I still might be gay."

In June 2016, he was just as straightforward about his sexuality when telling Angel Haze he was "only half gay."

We got it.

The music producer is not not gay but only half gay because he doesn't make eye contact during oral sex maybe.

The LGBTQ+ community and their allies tend to be supportive of sexually ambivalent individuals and encourage them to realize their sexual identity on their own terms.

But fans simply have grown weary of Diplo after he repeatedly teased the media with his clear-as-mud non-coming-out story–which can be interpreted as promoting the stigma of being bisexual.

Diplo has had relationships mostly with women–including with rapper M.I.A. from 2003 to 2008; and pop star Katy Perry, whom he dated briefly in 2014 and 2015.

Diplo also has three children.

He shares two sons–Lockett, 13 and Lazer, 9– with his ex Kathryn Lockhart.

In 2020, he announced that he and former Miss Universe pageant contestant Jevon King had a baby boy named Pace.

Sarah Jessica Parker Claps Back At Conservative Critics Who Want Her To 'Shut Up' About Politics And 'Act'

Nothing seems to get conservatives' goats quite like celebrities having political opinions—well, liberal and leftist celebrities, anyway.

They seem to love it when weird right-wing celebs like Kevin Sorbo get on the internet and say bizarre, usually counterfactual nonsense, or when JK Rowling does her darnedest to make her legacy not about Harry Potter but about her weird obsession with trans people.

Ann Coulter Faces Fierce Backlash After Saying 'We Didn't Kill Enough Indians' In Deleted Post

Far-right provocateur Ann Coulter is facing fierce criticism after she made a genocidal remark in a now-deleted post on X in response to University of Minnesota professor and Navajo Nation member Melanie Yazzie's speech about colonization.

Yazzie, in a speech at last year's annual Socialism Conference, said "decolonization is the only thing that is going to save us as a species" during a panel hosted by Red Nation, a Native American nonprofit that advocates for Palestinian and Native American rights. She also said that the United States is the "greatest predator empire that has ever existed" and said it should be dismantled.
