We've all had diarrhea. We've all been on road trips. Many of us have children. None of these things are particularly dangerous on their own, but together... well, together these ingredients form a perfect storm of awkwardness and embarrassment.
In a recent Facebook post from July 18, Clint Edward, author of the parenting blog 'No Idea What I'm Doing: A Daddy Blog," posted a simultaneously hilarious and terrifying story to Facebook.
The story starts innocently enough.
But things got steadily worse from there...
That's when things took a turn for the...strangely supportive?
It turns out Clint's daughter had learned to be supportive of toilet time from Clint himself!
Some of the compliments were more welcome than others...
As is often the case with great stories, it was a delight to everyone but its subject.
Of course, Facebook ate the anecdote up.
Many parents shared similar experiences.
Toddlers can be so nice. So, so nice. Too nice, honestly.
Perhaps life would be a little better if we retained childhood's sense of poop pride!
