Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach was visibly caught off guard after Anna Sawai showed up to the Met Gala wearing a nearly identical outfit—but he cleared the air in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Every year, the Met Gala asks their guests to dress to a particular theme. For 2025, the theme was "Tailored for You," which inspired entertainers to show up in looks that best modeled their figures or in some way emulated their greatest inspiration.

Zendaya showed up in an eye-catching white suit with a fitted jacket, vest, and embellished, crystal buttons, and well-tailored pants. To top it all off, she wore a fabulous, floppy white hat. She was styled by Law Roach, her suit was designed by Louis Vuitton, and her inspiration was Diana Ross and Bianca Jagger.

But then, while Law Roach was being interviewed about his design influence, Anna Sawai appeared, and he was shocked by her look.

Sawai was rocking a similar white suit with a simple white tie with a silver clip, wider-legged pants, and also a floppy hat. She was styled by Karla Welch, her suit was designed by Dior, and she was inspired by Yoko Ono.

Law Roach simply stood there, smiling and staring at Sawai, words failing him.

It's safe to say that the rest of Law Roach's interview was derailed.

Concern stirred among fans as people began to compare Zendaya's and Anna Sawai's looks, with some even coming for Sawai and her stylist as if she had somehow stolen the look.

Roach's initial comments definitely fed the fire:

"I'm glad we got here first!"
"Ha, who wore it better?"

Fans read into Roach's reaction and focused on the drama.

But in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Roach said there were no hard feelings and that both women had been class acts toward each other and throughout the evening at the Met Gala.

He even said that Zendaya later sent Anna Sawai flowers to celebrate her attending her first Met Gala.

But fans were not convinced that Roach was doing anything more than damage control.

No one wants to show up to an event dressed to the nines, only to realize that someone else had a very similar concept.

But it seems that Zendaya and Anna Sawai handled the coincidence well, even if fans were concerned about Roach's reaction. At the end of the day, they both looked fabulous, and as long as they had a great time, that's honestly the whole point.

Dr. Oz Slammed After His 'Credit Card' Health Care Analogy Goes Completely Off The Rails

Snake oil salesman Dr. Mehmet Oz—now the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—was criticized after he tried to discuss U.S. health insurance providers' pledge to speed up the prior authorization process by oddly comparing it to a "credit card," underscoring just how much he doesn't understand the job he currently holds.

Earlier this week, major U.S. health insurers—including Cigna, Aetna, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare—announced a set of reforms aimed at simplifying the often frustrating prior authorization process for patients and providers.

Jasmine Crockett Calls Out Trump's Hypocrisy By Pointing Out How Melania Got Her Visa

Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett pointed out President Donald Trump's hypocrisy on immigration considering how First Lady Melania Trump's pathway to citizenship was possible because she received an "Einstein visa," which is usually reserved for an individual with "some sort of significant achievement."

Speaking during a House Judiciary Committee hearing titled “Restoring Integrity and Security to the Visa Process,” Crockett noted that “the idea that Trump and my Republican colleagues want to restore integrity and security in the visa process is actually a joke," and harshly criticized the Trump administration's immigration crackdown and visa restrictions.

Fox Host Comes To Reporter's Defense After Pete Hegseth Berates Her At Pentagon Briefing

Fox News' chief political analyst Brit Hume came to the defense of Fox national security reporter Jennifer Griffin after their former colleague, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, criticized Griffin as the reporter "who misrepresents the most intentionally what the president says” in a Pentagon news conference.

Hegseth, a former Fox News anchor, had criticized media outlets—including his former network—for what he described as unpatriotic reporting. Hegseth took particular aim at early intelligence assessments suggesting that President Donald Trump's bombing of Iran may not have significantly crippled Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
