Courteney Cox shared a sweet Friends memory on Instagram in a heartfelt tribute to her late costar Matthew Perry who died last month at the age of 54.

In her post, Cox recalled Perry's "funny" and "kind" nature, sharing one of her favorite moments between her and her on-screen hubby.

She wrote:

"I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day."
"When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now here’s one of my favorites."

Cox shared an unaired clip from the season 4 episode "The One With Ross’s Wedding" when the gang minus Phoebe flew to London to attend Ross' wedding. This, of course, is also where Chandler and Monica hook up, much to the audience's delight.

Cox continued her post:

"To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story."
"In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say."
"He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind. 🤍🕊️"

Accompanying her post were both the aired and unaired versions of the clip, the latter in which she says Perry's line.

This is the moment Ross bursts into Chandler's hotel room and excitedly announces he's getting married.

After Ross leaves, Monica surfaces from beneath the covers and asks:

“Do you think he knows I was here?”

And the audience loses it.

In the unaired clip, Monica—at Perry's request—adds the line:

“OK, your turn!"

She then laughs and tells the audience:

“He told me to say it, he did!”

Fans of the TV couple thanked Cox for sharing such a lovely memory, and offered their condolences.

In a joint statement released to PEOPLE on October 31, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow honored the late actor, saying:

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."
"There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

On Tuesday, Matt LeBlanc shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, writing:

"It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye."
"The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life."
"It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never."
"Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love."

He also joked:

"And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

Lovely tributes ❤️
